Stiftung Artenschutz — Amphibian Conservation Fund
The Amphibian Conservation Fund supports conservation actions for threatened amphibian species worldwide. Projects must focus on species listed as Critically Endangered, Endangered, or Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. Initiatives targeting Data Deficient or Not Evaluated species may also qualify if a clear conservation concern is demonstrated. Eligible activities include habitat protection, urgent field research, conservation breeding, reintroductions, training, education, and community engagement. Funding is available for projects up to €5,000 with a duration of up to 12 months. Proposals are accepted in English or German, and the program is open to applicants from any country. Lipman Family Prize — Funding for Social Change
Each year, the Lipman Family Prize awards cash to three social impact organizations – US$250 thousand for the winning organization and US$125 thousand for each of the two other honorees. The award recognizes and amplifies the work of organizations devoted to positive social impact and creating sustainable solutions to significant social and economic challenges. Past winners include projects in the field of improved sanitation, energy innovations, and micro-forestry. The New York Climate Exchange — Climate Tech Fellowship
The New York Climate Exchange invites applications for its Climate Tech Fellowship, a six-month hybrid programme supporting early-stage innovators developing technologies at the intersection of energy and urban resilience. The fellowship is open to researchers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and teams from any country working on innovations at the prototype, early pilot, or early commercialization stage; university affiliation and company incorporation are not required. Selected fellows receive a US$10 thousand non-dilutive stipend per team, one-to-one mentorship, commercialization training, investor introductions, and travel and accommodation for one team member to attend Climate Week NYC. Thomson Foundation — Young Journalist Award 2026
The Thomson Foundation invites entries for the Young Journalist Award 2026, an international competition recognizing outstanding young journalists whose work investigates important social issues and holds power to account. Eligible applicants are journalists aged 30 or under from, or reporting in, countries with a Gross National Income (GNI) per capita below US$20 thousand. Applicants must submit three published or broadcast pieces produced during the previous 12 months. Institute for Global Environmental Strategies — Satoyama Development Mechanism 2026
The IGES, the United Nations University Institute for Advanced Studies on Sustainability, and Japan’s Ministry of the Environment announce the latest round of sub-grants under the Satoyama Development Mechanism. The International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) promotes the sustainable use of Socio-Ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes. Grants are up to US$20 thousand for field projects; research; collaboration activities; and capacity building and outreach that link ecosystems and community systems on a sustainable basis. Amphibian Survival Alliance — Partnerships for Amphibian Conservation
The Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) makes grants to evidence-based conservation projects that address key threats to amphibians and raise awareness. AArk Program Grants are intended to support conservation projects for amphibian species that cannot currently be saved in the wild, with a primary focus on ex situ actions, and in partnership with appropriate field activities. Funded programs will receive up to US$7,000 in the first year. Additional funds will be available for year 2 (up to US$5,000) and year 3 (up to US$3,000). International Fund for Agricultural Development — Rural Sector Performance Assessment for Policy and Investment
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) invites proposals to select an organization or consortium to implement an initiative that strengthens the use of IFAD’s Rural Sector Performance Assessment for rural development policy and investment. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, private sector companies, universities, think tanks, and research institutes. The selected recipient may receive up to US$1.2 million and must provide a counterpart contribution of at least 20% of the IFAD grant amount, or 25% for private sector institutions.
