Fields of study under this program are (1) Applied Biological Sciences: Environmental Health; (2) Environmental Toxicology; (3) and Chemical Biology. The scholarship will cover tuition, round trip airfare, a monthly stipend, book allowance, and health insurance, among other expenses. Earth Journalism Network — Bay of Bengal Media Grants 2020
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) makes grants to media organizations in the Bay of Bengal region, that aim to improve the quantity and quality of information about climate change. Particular attention should be given to the adaptation needs, challenges, efforts and success stories of vulnerable and marginalized communities. Preference will be given to applications from or affiliated with professional journalists, media organizations, journalism schools, and the like. However, EJN will also consider applications by NGOs or environmental groups looking to build the capacity of journalists to cover conservation issues. Future Ready ASEAN is an online platform with learning tracks to foster digital skills, in particular computer science. The FutureReady ASEAN Competition invites ASEAN youth to develop a blog site on a pressing challenge in the ASEAN region across one of the four following sub-themes: Agriculture, Biodiversity, Climate Change, Water. SANDEE invites concept notes for research projects in the area of environmental and resource economics relating to the development of South Asia and the Hindu Kush-Himalayan Region. SANDEE has particular interest in research proposals on forest restoration. Grants will range between US$20 thousand and US$30 thousand.
