The program offers grants of up to US$ 1,000 to young individuals (aged 18-35 years) and non-profit groups in Vietnam. U.S. Department of State — Enhancing Development and Growth through Energy
The U.S. Department of State announces an opportunity for organizations to submit applications to the Asia Enhancing Development and Growth through Energy (EDGE) initiative. The aim of the program is to grow sustainable and secure energy markets throughout the Indo-Pacific. Eligibility is limited to U.S. and foreign non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and public international organizations. BBSRC and NERC — Sustainable Agriculture and Aquaculture
BBSRC and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) announce a joint call to address challenges related to the sustainable enhancement of agriculture (including crops and livestock) and aquaculture (including finfish and shellfish) in low- and middle-income countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Asia and South-Eastern Asia regions. BBSRC and NERC have allocated a maximum of up to £3.4 million, to fund multidisciplinary research projects of up to 24 months in duration. Proposals must be led by a principal investigator in the UK. The Thomson Reuters Foundation seeks participants for a four-day workshop on reporting land rights in New Delhi, India (6-9 August 2019).
