International Development Research Centre — Multilateral Research Call
The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) invites expressions of interest for collaborative, multi-country research projects that advance Africa’s Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy. The call supports research in five thematic areas: agriculture, health, artificial intelligence and digital technologies, energy, and environment. Eligible applicants are consortia consisting of one lead institution and at least two co-applicant institutions from different participating SGCI countries; eligible organizations include public research organizations, public and private universities, and governmental research organizations, while organizations outside participating countries may join as unfunded partners. CETPartnership — Clean Energy Transition
The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) invites transnational consortia from a minimum of three countries (at least two must be EU Member States or Horizon Europe associated countries) to submit research and innovation projects in renewable energy technologies and clean energy integration. The Call is designed to support projects lasting between 12 and 36 months, with requested funding typically ranging from €0.5 million to €5 million. The International Biodiversity Program by halting and reversing biodiversity loss in collaboration with women and Indigenous Peoples. The SheConnects Digital Accelerator seeks digital solutions that empower women and girls across Sub-Saharan Africa. The accelerator awards grants between US$500 thousand and US$1 million to registered non-profit organizations, mission-driven businesses, academic institutions, and consortia. To qualify, projects must focus on expanding proven digital models that improve women’s outcomes in key sectors, including climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, digital literacy, or healthcare.
