Halcyon — Caribbean Climate Pre-Accelerator

Halcyon offers a six-month hybrid program to support early-stage climate founders in the Caribbean. Selected ventures receive a US$6 thousand equity-free stipend, US$10 thousand in Amazon Web Services credits, and access to expert workshops and professional advisors. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Cambodia

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) provides support for small-scale, high-impact projects in Cambodia that align with Canada’s thematic priorities, including inclusive governance, gender equality, and peace and security. Eligible recipients include local non-governmental organizations, community groups, and academic institutions, as well as international or municipal agencies working on local development. While the maximum funding available for a single project is CAN$100 thousand, the average contribution typically ranges between CAN$15 thousand and CAN$30 thousand. Katapult — Africa Accelerator

Katapult manages an accelerator program designed to support impact-driven startups in Africa focusing on agritech, foodtech, and climate tech. The program is open to African startups that demonstrate high scalability and positive environmental or social impact in sectors such as clean energy, circular economy, and sustainable agriculture. Katapult invests between US$150 thousand and US$500 thousand in each participating company in exchange for equity, while charging a program fee to cover the costs of the three-month intensive training. Selected founders receive hands-on mentorship, investor readiness training, and the opportunity to pitch to global impact investors during a dedicated investor day. Pulitzer Center — Impact Seed Fund

The Pulitzer Center invites applications for its Impact Seed Fund, which supports university educators and researchers in using Pulitzer Center-supported journalism to develop educational and engagement initiatives on environmental issues. The program targets the upscaling of nature-based solutions to address extreme weather events and seeks to enhance policy development through innovative water footprint concepts. Eligibility requires a consortium of at least three legal entities from three different participating countries, including at least one from an EU Member State or associated country and at least one from a Mediterranean Partner Country (such as Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, or Morocco). Funding amounts vary by section: Section 1 projects typically receive approximately €2.7 million each from EU funds, while Section 2 projects receive a minimum of €1.5 million supported by national funding bodies. Eligible applicants must be under 35 years old and be citizens or residents of a PRIMA participating country, which includes various nations across the European Union and the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean. Photography 4 Humanity — Photography Competition

Photography 4 Humanity invites amateur and professional photographers worldwide to submit images for its 2026 Global Prize. Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research — Fellowship Program

The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) enables early-career researchers to join a project team from another country for research activities that further our understanding of Antarctica. The fellowship is for PhD students to undertake research at major international laboratories, field facilities, or institutes in SCAR member countries. Applicants should be citizens of both a World Meteorological Organization member country and a developing economy. SCAR will offer three to four fellowships of up to US$15 thousand each. Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations — Young Forest Champions

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) invites nominations for the Young Forest Champions initiative. This program recognizes individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who lead innovative projects in forest monitoring using geospatial technology to support climate action. Eligible applicants include individual forest practitioners, researchers, and community leaders from Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Peru, Uganda, or Zambia, with a specific focus on those contributing to indigenous and local community efforts. Selected champions receive a US$10 thousand grant to scale their projects, along with technical mentorship and an invitation to participate in the XVIV IUFRO World Congress.
