The East-West Center welcomes applications for the Pacific Islands Leadership Program with Taiwan to enhance the leadership capacities of young leaders in the Pacific Islands. Participants will spend approximately two months at the East-West Center’s campus in Hawaii, in addition to a month in Taipei at the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs. The curriculum includes topics in climate change and environmental stewardship, among others. Eligibility extends to early and mid-careers professionals in the Cook Islands, Micronesia, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu. COASTHazar – Joint Master in Coastal Hazards
The COASTHazar Joint Master program prepares students to address coastal risks and climate change impacts through a two-year curriculum spanning Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal. This global program is open to students with a university degree in engineering, geosciences, or environmental sciences. While full Erasmus Mundus scholarships are not available for the 2026–2028 edition, the program offers a reduced tuition fee to support incoming participants. The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) does not fund the implementation of the projects but it assists project development, the search for financial resources, and the search for political and technical support needed for project implementation. UfM promotes a wide range of projects in the Mediterranean region in subject areas that include energy and climate, water, environment, blue economy, and several others. The Earth Foundation — Earth Prize Schools Competition
The Earth Foundation invites secondary school students aged 13–19, working individually or in teams, to propose innovative solutions to environmental challenges at the local, national, or global level. Participants receive mentorship, learning resources, and expert guidance to refine their projects, with selected entries competing for cash prizes of up to US$12,500. Swedish Institute — Scholarships for Global Professionals
The Swedish Institute (SI) provides fully-funded international scholarships for master’s studies in Sweden. The scholarship for global professionals aims to develop future global leaders who will contribute to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and contribute to positive and sustainable development in their home countries. The scholarship is intended for full-time one-year or two-year master’s programs. RESCO — Master’s Programme Resources, Environment and Sustainability
The RESCO Master’s Program offers an interdisciplinary, two-year graduate program focused on sustainable resource management, environmental policy, circular economy, and climate transitions. The program is delivered by a consortium of European universities, and is open to students of all nationalities who hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree in fields such as environmental studies, engineering, economics, geography, or social sciences. Admitted students may apply for Erasmus Mundus scholarships that typically cover full tuition fees, travel costs, insurance, and a monthly living allowance (around €1,400 per month) for the duration of the program. Climate Tracker — Climate Journalism Mentorship Program
Climate Tracker invited applications for the Climate Journalism Mentoring Program, exclusive to Latin America. Journalists from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Mexico will publish stories on the impact of the climate crisis in the region, with a focus on the transition to fair energy. European Commission — Improving Climate and Weather Models
The European Commission supports projects that enhance climate and weather data, modeling, and forecasting systems to improve resilience and decision-making across the African continent. The call is open to for-profit companies, startups, research institutions, NGOs, and consortia with strong technical capacity in climate science, data analytics, AI, or weather modeling. HCLTech accepts applications for the Climate Action Grant which provides grants to non-governmental organizations combating climate change and restoring ecosystems and biodiversity across the Americas. HCLTech accepts proposals for climate action in focus areas such as wildlife and biodiversity conservation; land and ocean action; clean energy; climate advocacy; campaigns; and climate risk reduction. The Africa Scholarship Program (ASP) offers students from Africa the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree at Wageningen University and to support capacity building in Africa.
