Irish Aid — Ireland Fellows Programme 2026/27

Irish Aid offers scholarships to qualified candidates from Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America to undertake Master’s degrees at universities and colleges in Ireland. Awards are made in the fields of development studies, rural development, biodiversity conservation, and many other subject areas relevant to the Terra Viva Grants Directory. Lipman Family Prize — Funding for Social Change

Each year, the Lipman Family Prize awards cash to three social impact organizations – US$250 thousand for the winning organization and US$125 thousand for each of the two other honorees. The award recognizes and amplifies the work of organizations devoted to positive social impact and creating sustainable solutions to significant social and economic challenges. Past winners include projects in the field of improved sanitation, energy innovations, and micro-forestry. University of Edinburgh — Distance Learning Masters Scholarships

The University of Edinburgh offers Masters scholarships for distance learning Masters programs offered by the University. Thematic areas include agriculture, veterinary medicine, and engineering, among others. Each scholarship will cover full tuition fees for three years. U.S. Department of State — Professional Fellows Program for Latin America and the Caribbean

The U.S. Department of State invites proposal submissions for the Young Leaders of the Americas (YLAI) Fellowship Program. The global exchange program will support approx. 250 social entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean in a five to four-week Fellowship program, including entrepreneurial training and workshops. Association of Commonwealth Universities — Higher Education and SDGs Grants

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) accepts applications for the Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants to fund collaborative work around the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The grants are open to professional and academic staff at ACU member universities. Four grants of £2,500 are available. Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with member universities to promote further Commonwealth partnerships or other organizations such as local governments. The closing date is 03 June 2025. Village Capital launches an investment readiness program that supports startups with innovative solutions to accelerate sustainable development. The program currently accepts startups from Malaysia and Vietnam, addressing underestimated communities in the region. The program will run for twelve weeks. Startup SG — Global Startup Competition

Startup SG seeks global startups to compete in the Slingshot 2025 Global Startup Competition. Entries to the competition need to present game-changing innovation in one of four challenge categories, including Environment, Energy and Green Technologies (e.g., Agriculture, Clean Energy, Food, or Green Technology). The Top 100 Global Startups will pitch to a global audience and compete for cash and grant prizes worth up to S$200 thousand. Interested participants have to register on the platform by 11 July 2025. International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology — Collaborative Research Program

The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) accepts proposals for the Collaborative Research Program (CRP), aimed at financing projects addressing original scientific problems. The program provides support for original research projects in basic life sciences, human healthcare, industrial and agricultural biotechnology, and bioenergy. The maximum annual contribution from ICGEB is €25 thousand. Applicants should hold positions at Universities or Research Institutes in ICGEB member states. The application deadline is 30 April 2025.
