The Polish Challenge Fund (PCF) aims to facilitate the transfer of Polish know-how, technology, and innovative solutions in the area of green technologies to priority partner countries (Ukraine and Belarus). Funds of US$ 40 thousand will be allocated to Polish entities (companies as well as science and research institutes). The NEF Publication Program supports scientific publications to expand knowledge of nature conservation in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The program supports: printing cost including design and layout; and distribution cost inside the applicant’s country. The maximum grant size is ¥1 million per project for a maximum duration of one year. Applicants must be nationals of developing country in the Asia-Pacific region and be a full-time researcher/scientist working at a research institution. The Environmental Law Institute invites applications for the Jim Rubin International Fellowship. The Fellowship Program is aimed at early-career environmental lawyers. The U.S. Mission to Indonesia provides financial assistance to build the capacity of law enforcement, government institutions, and local civil society organizations to prevent and report on environmental crimes in Indonesia. Capacity-building activities could include but are not limited to financial analysis ; conducting workshops, hosting conferences, or facilitating study tours. UK Research Councils — Commercial Products for Sustainable Development
The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) will invest up to £9.3 million in demonstration-stage projects of commercial products and solutions that have the potential to transform lives in developing countries. The project must be relevant to one of 10 Sustainable Development Goals listed in the announcement, including SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation; SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities; SDG 13: Climate Action; SDG 14: Life below Water; SDG 15: Life on Land. Active Citizens Fund — Funding for Croatian CSOs
The Active Citizens Fund calls for proposals from Croatian CSOs active in the area of environment and climate change. Additional priority areas include human rights and social justice. The maximum contribution per project is between €90 thousand and €150 thousand (10% of co-financing is required). Projects may have a duration of 24-36 months. The call targets civil society organizations with sufficiently effective management and governing processes capable of developing complex project interventions.
