Clean Cooking Alliance — Clean Cooking Women Leaders Award

The Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) invited applications for the Clean Cooking Women Leaders Award (WLA). The award recognizes women who are advancing clean cooking solutions in emerging markets. Winners will receive a sponsorship to attend the Clean Cooking Forum 2022 in Ghana (October 2022) and a financial sponsorship toward leadership coaching. New York Academy of Sciences — Mentoring Program for Girls in STEM

The New York Academy of Sciences’ virtual mentoring program ‘1000 Girls, 1000 Futures’ and ‘The Junior Academy’ accept applications from female students ages 13-17 from around the world. The program connects STEM-focused high school girls to female science mentors and offers an online community with STEM resources. The program also accepts applications of female scientists interested in mentoring young girls. Students and mentors gain access to a STEM network and receive a free 1-year membership to the New York Academy of Sciences. Applications are due by 30 June 2022. About the program

International Union for Conservation of Nature — Sustainable Environments

The Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Environments (RISE) Grant Program supports strategies to prevent gender-based violence in the context of natural resource access and control. For that purpose, RISE seeks partnerships between environmental organizations, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations, local and grassroots communities. RISE seeks to fund up to six projects in the range of US$100 thousand to US$300 thousand each. Projects must be implemented in Central America and the Caribbean, Eastern and Southern Africa, or South and Southeast Asia. Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund — Investing In Women in Agribusiness

The Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF) seeks applications for the Investing in Women in South Sudan (IIW-SS) program. Projects should focus on enhancing women’s economic empowerment in the honey, sorghum, sesame, shea nut and groundnut value chains in South Sudan to increase incomes, reduce climate risks, and transform livelihoods. Total grant funds requested must be between US$50 thousand and US$750 thousand. Eligibility extends to for-profit enterprises located in South Sudan with demonstrated presence in Central and Eastern Equatoria States. Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development — Sustainable Development Goals Monitoring

The Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development (APWLD) invites women’s rights and feminist organizations to apply for sub-grants. APWLD will support up to 8 organizations to do monitoring of the SDGs implementation in their country. The aim is to develop the capacity of feminist movements and women’s rights organizations to conduct evidence-based advocacy for the monitoring and review of the Sustainable Development Goals. APWLD will provide each partner organization with a sub-grant of between US$15 thousand to US$18 thousand. One Young World — Technovators for Social Good Scholarship

One Young World supports young women working in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The Technovators for Social Good Scholarship will sponsor a young leader to attend the One Young World 2022 Summit in Manchester (UK) and enable them to participate in speeches, panels, networking, and workshops. Candidates must be females aged 18 – 30 leading innovative and impactful initiatives to promote access and opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for women. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Ethiopia, Djibouti, African Union

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Ethiopia, Djibouti, African Union. The priorities under this call include women’s economic rights, decent jobs and entrepreneurship, and investing in the poorest and most vulnerable (which may include agriculture or aquaculture projects), as well as environment, climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, and water management. The average contribution is C$30 thousand to C$50 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. European Commission — Civil Society Development in Jamaica and Belize

The European Commission (EC) aims to promote capacity development of local civil society in Jamaica and Belize. The action aims to contribute to an inclusive and independent civil society which engages in decision making, is able to address and respond to development challenges, and empowers women and girls. Applicants may request between €150 thousand and €500 thousand in project funding. U.S. Mission Turkey — Grants Program

U.S. Mission Turkey announces a grants program to support projects in the fields of agribusiness, innovative agricultural technology/practices, combatting climate change, developing the blue economy, and promoting the role of women in peace and security, among others. Legally registered civil society organizations, non-profit organizations, universities and individuals operating in Turkey can apply. Grants range from US$5 thousand to US$75 thousand. United Nations World Tourism Organization — Award for Sustainable Tourism

The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) seeks to find the most innovative startups that are working to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The UNWTO Awards acknowledge the contribution of institutions to competitive and sustainable tourism development. Tourism startups should contribute to one of six goals: Local community involvement; Green and blue economies; Ecological and Sustainable Capital Creation; Tourism Tech for Good; Tourism Education; Women Empowerment.
