The following activities will be supported under this call: capacity building, land mediation initiatives involving local communities, projects of women’s and youth organisation, research, awareness raising and advocacy activities. Access Agriculture invites applicants for the Young Entrepreneur Challenge Fund. Participants have the chance to propose innovative business ideas or expand their existing business, around the dissemination of agricultural videos. Climate Tracker — 10-Month Fellowship on Climate Solutions
Climate Tracker, in partnership with the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, seeks five young climate journalists to participate in an online mentorship on climate solutions and journalism. The fellows will receive training on how to write articles on climate change and a monthly stipend of US$150. Applicants that are between 18 and 30 years old and are living in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, South Asia, or Asia-Pacific are eligible. The purpose of the Capacity Building Workshop is to contribute to develop new approaches towards integrated conservation of cultural and natural heritage. The workshop on ‘Nature-Culture Linkages in Heritage Conservation’ will take place at the University of Tsukuba, Japan (September/October 2019). This workshop is a combination of theory, practice, and a field trip where participants will get in contact with local managers and local communities.
