Wellcome Trust — Climate Change and Human Health
The Wellcome Trust seeks applications from researchers who want to explore the links between human health and the changing climate. Specific research themes are (1) Developing tools to support research into climate change and health; (2) Assessing the health co-benefits of actions to mitigate climate change; and (3) Assessing the health impacts of actions to adapt to climate change. BBSRC announces a call for collaborative proposals to address research challenges relating to the sustainable intensification of agricultural systems in developing countries. The aim of this call is to enhance livelihoods through research to improve the productivity, sustainability, resilience and health of crops and/or farmed animals (including aquaculture). Proposals must be led by a Principal Investigator (PI) in the UK, but are expected to be co-designed and delivered with “in-country” researchers.
