The Nature Conservancy Photo Contest seeks photographs that bring the natural world to people’s eyes and to their hearts. Participants can submit their pictures into five different categories: Cities and Nature; Landscape; People and Nature; Water; and Wildlife. Winners will receive gift cards and equipment. Partnership for Forests — Innovative Partnerships in Forestry
Partnership for Forests promotes partnerships among governments, civil society, and private enterprises to address deforestation and improve livelihoods by investing in forests and sustainable land use in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. The program provides a combination of grants and technical assistance to help selected partnerships move towards commercial scale-up. Grants normally range from £10 thousand to £1 million. Applicants should provide matched funding of at least 25%. Applications are welcome from private companies, cooperatives and trade associations, civil society and community-based organizations, NGOs, and research institutes. There is no deadline. MDPI — Remote Sensing Young Investigator Award 2024

International Union of Forest Research Organizations — Grants for Female Early-Career Scientist
The International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) offers a limited number of grants of up to €5 thousand for short scientific visits for female early-career scientists affiliated with IUFRO organizations to visit a forest research organization overseas. The specific duration of the scientific visits will be dependent on the complexity of the proposed projects. Potential applicants are required to contact the potential host organization prior to applying for a grant. Together they shall develop a project proposal and work plan. The Orange Knowledge Program (OKP) makes scholarships to mid-career professionals from selected developing countries for short courses (duration 2 weeks to 12 months) and master’s programs (duration 12-24 months).
