The Azimuth World Foundation funds projects by grassroots Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities-led organizations aiming to improve access to health and to save water. The maximum grant amount is US$25 thousand. To be eligible for funding, organizations must have a USA tax-exempt status (501 (c)(3)) or a Fiscal Sponsor. One Day’s Wages — Matching Grants
One Day’s Wages is a grassroots movement to alleviate extreme global poverty. Matching grants require partners to raise a portion of the grant funds, which are then matched by One Day’s Wages dollar for dollar. Matching grant requests from first-time partners is US$5,000 – US$30 thousand. Projects must fit within one or more of ODW’s focus areas, which include Climate Impact, and Water & Sanitation, among others. Applicants must be a registered non-governmental nonprofit organization. Global Diversity Foundation — Conservation and Communities Fellowship
Global Diversity Foundation offers an online and in-person Fellowship for leaders of Global South grassroots organizations working at the intersection of biodiversity and livelihoods. The program will help participants to fundraise for their projects, successfully implement and measure their impact, and grow a supportive peer-learning and mentoring community. The Fellowship is open to applicants from the Global South who are leaders or project managers in local civil society or grassroots organizations whose work focuses on the intersection of biodiversity conservation and community livelihoods. German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development — Tiger Habitat Conservation Program
The Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Programme (ITHCP), supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) promotes and supports tiger conservation while considering the needs of local communities. Project grant size can vary from a minimum of € 0.5 million to a maximum of € 2 million. In addition to the six Tiger Range Countries, namely India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand are also eligible. In order to be eligible for a grant, the applicant must be a local or an international non-governmental organization, civil society organization, or government authority. Our Kids Climate — Intergenerational Climate Microgrants

Ocean Conservation Trust — Small Grants for Conservation Projects
The Ocean Conservation Trust offers small grants to organizations or individuals that deliver conservation projects. Projects can be research-based, educational or community events but must contribute towards a healthy Ocean. There is no geographical restriction on where projects might be located. UK Government — Research and Innovation for Development in ASEAN
The UK Government accepts applications for short-term innovative projects that address important development issues in Southeast Asia. Funding will support collaboration between researchers and innovators to address regional priorities such as health, climate adaptation, resilience, energy transition and agriculture to progress development impact. Funding ranges from £10 thousand to £100 thousand. Applications have to be submitted by 08 September 2023. Know more
