U.S. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation — Seabird Conservation Program 2023
The U.S. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) invites applications to improve populations of focal Pacific seabirds through actions that increase survival and reproduction. Proposed projects may address the management of non-native, invasive animals; restoration of nesting grounds and habitat; research and monitoring activities to address conservation needs; or activities that reduce bycatch. Fruit Tree Planting Foundation — Assistance for Fruit Orchards
The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF) offers planting materials and technical assistance to establish fruit orchards that will be used for charitable purposes. Fruit orchards must serve communities for generations, at places such as community gardens, public schools, city/state parks, low-income neighborhoods, international hunger relief sites, or animal sanctuaries. Applicants must be nonprofit organizations, public or nonprofit schools, or government entities serving a charitable purpose. Most programs are implemented in the USA. Lipman Family Prize — Funding for Social Change
Each year, the Lipman Family Prize awards cash to three social impact organizations – US$250 thousand for the winning organization and US$125 thousand for each of the two other honorees. The award recognizes and amplifies the work of organizations devoted to positive social impact and creating sustainable solutions to significant social and economic challenges. Past winners include projects in the field of improved sanitation, energy innovations, and micro-forestry. Participants compete for awards of up to US$10 thousand to deliver activities that improve lives, help communities, and protect the planet. P4G — Partnership Awards
The P4G Partnership Fund provides financial support and targeted assistance to public-private partnerships that implement strategies to achieve the following five Sustainable Development Goals: Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture; Water and Sanitation; Clean Energy; Sustainable Cities; and Sustainable Consumption. Start-up projects may apply for up to US$100 thousand, scale-up projects may apply for up to US$1 million. Projects have to be implemented in a developing country. Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation — Sustainable Livelihoods
The Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation supports entrepreneurial and income-generating initiatives that provide access to independent, self-determined and sustainable livelihoods. Funding is to local organizations that implement projects for positive change and economic independence in their communities. Amounts between €10-50 thousand per calendar year can be funded. Paul K. Feyerabend Foundation — Community and Solidarity
The PKF Foundation makes grants in support of grassroots conservation, land and resource rights of indigenous and local communities, and traditional knowledge in managing natural resources. PKF’s projects focus heavily on communities in developing countries. PKF works through a network of nominators. Grant seekers approach the Foundation through these nominators. For applicants who do not know any nominators, PKF provides an email contact address. The maximum grant is €10 thousand for one or two years.
