EnDev — Modern Energy Access in Uganda

Energising Development (EnDev) seeks to enable access to modern energy products to enterprises and social institutions including health centers and schools in Uganda. The project aims to provide solar PV technologies, improved cookstoves, and higher-tier cookstove technologies by enhancing the capacity of a selected target group to effectively communicate and understand the promoted technology. The Society for Marine Mammalogy makes grants to its members who are nationals of emerging and developing countries. Grants are for up to US$2 thousand for field research by early-career researchers. Enabel — Prize for Women Entrepreneurs

The Awa Prize highlights women entrepreneurs from Belgian development cooperation countries and their projects. The prize aims to promote women entrepreneurs in their local community and strengthen them in their entrepreneurial success. The winner receives €50 thousand in support of their enterprise and one week in Belgium. Participating countries for the 2024 edition: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, DRC, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Palestine, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda. TotalEnergies — Support for Young African Entrepreneurs

The Startupper Challenge by TotalEnergies supports young African entrepreneurs to innovate and bring their projects to reality in their country of application. Winners will receive financial support to develop their startup or business idea. Business owners of startups under 3 years old with a positive impact on their communities or the planet can participate. The challenge is open to young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35. The Royal Society of Biology invites amateurs to submit photographs that explore the profound changes occurring across the planet, highlighting the resilience and adaptability of life in response to environmental changes, human intervention, and scientific innovation. Climate Tracker — Scholarship to Cover the COP16 on Biodiversity

Climate Tracker supports journalists from Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, and Peru to cover in person or virtually the COP16 on Biodiversity in Colombia (October/November 2024). Climate Tracker will select six journalists for travel to Colombia, to cover COP16 in person. European Climate Pact — Photo Competition

The European Climate Pact photo competition aims to showcase climate action. Photos should capture a climate-friendly daily routine, climate action, or a climate solution.
