The Vietnamese-Swiss Joint Research Program enables researchers in Switzerland to carry out joint projects with research partners in Vietnam. The program supports ambitious research and innovative approaches in all areas of research. A maximum of CHF250 thousand per project will be available for the Swiss part for a project period of up to 3 years. Proposals have to be jointly prepared by Swiss and Vietnamese applicants. The Centre for Research on Ecology and Forestry Applications (CREAF) invites applications for the “La Caixa” Scholarships as part of the INPhINIT Fellowship Program. The program offers 35 doctoral scholarships for research to be carried out in a multidisciplinary and international research team. It is aimed at supporting scientific talent and fostering innovative and high-quality research in the areas of life and health sciences, experimental sciences, physics, chemistry and mathematics. International students from any nationality are invited. The Business Partnership Facility awards subsidies to support and develop private sector involvement in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in developing countries. The project must contribute to achieving at least one clearly identified SDG. Funding of up to €200 thousand is available. Partnerships must comprise actors from the private sector, civil society, academia and/or the public sector, with at least one organization from the for-profit private sector. The UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) provides funding for international workshops to stimulate joint research cooperations. The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society (EM JMD ACES) is a full-time master’s program for two years for European and international students.
