Orange Telecom — Orange Social Venture Prize 2025
The Orange Social Venture Prize recognizes entrepreneurs and start-up organizations that make innovative use of technology in agriculture, energy, and other fields of development. The geographical focus is Africa and the Middle East. Prizes range from €10 thousand to €25 thousand, plus professional support for a period of six months. Startup SG — Global Startup Competition
Startup SG seeks global startups to compete in the Slingshot 2025 Global Startup Competition. Entries to the competition need to present game-changing innovation in one of four challenge categories, including Environment, Energy and Green Technologies (e.g., Agriculture, Clean Energy, Food, or Green Technology). The Reece Foundation makes grants in support of projects that support access to clean water, sanitation or water for agricultural & food security purposes. Tiny Beam Fund — Negative Impacts of Global Industrial Animal Agriculture
Tiny Beam Fund offers communication grants to researchers who wish to “address negative impacts of global industrial food animal production” (especially in low- and middle-income countries). Communication Grants are aimed at encouraging academics who have studied the problems caused by global industrial animal agriculture to take steps to share their research. There is no fixed upper or lower limit for each grant. Only in exceptional cases will a grant provide over US$50 thousand in 12 months. Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens — Youth AgriChampions 2025
The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) hosts the 3rd edition of the Youth AgriChampions – a Peer2Peer workshop series on climate adaptation in agriculture. The workshop is designed for youth grassroots voices in smallholder farming and agricultural entrepreneurship in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia.
