European Commission — Sustainable and Organic Food Systems
The ERA-NET SUSFOOD2 and CORE Organic Cofunds (SF/CO) launches a joint call for transnational research project proposals on sustainable and organic food systems. The call aims to reinforce research cooperation between EU members and associated states to develop more sustainable food systems from production to consumption. The maximum budget is €1.5 million per research proposal. The call is open to research consortia comprised of a minimum of 3 independent legal entities from a minimum of 3 different SF/CO partner countries. South Asian Network for Development and Environmental Economics — Research on Forest Restoration in South Asia
SANDEE invites concept notes for research projects in the area of environmental and resource economics relating to the development of South Asia and the Hindu Kush-Himalayan Region. SANDEE has particular interest in research proposals on forest restoration. Grants will range between US$20 thousand and US$30 thousand. Larger grants for multidisciplinary teams and transboundary issues are possible. Researchers (including early-career) from South Asia and the HKH employed by a university, research institute, a government agency or a nonprofit organizations are eligible. Green Campus Initiative offers a 12 month fellowship program which will serve as a platform for executing eco-conscious ideas and innovations. Successful applicants will receive stipends and funded training. Applicants must be a recent graduate or postgraduate student currently undertaking a leadership role in an organization, company or association. The fellowship opportunity is open to all countries. The Japan Africa Scholarship (JADS) Program, funded by the Government of Japan, provides a two-year scholarship to African students for post-graduate studies in Japan.
