The Orange Summer Challenge 2025 (OSC25) is a tech entrepreneurship program designed to support innovative startups that combine hardware and software solutions with strong social or environmental impact. OSC25 offers participants technical and human support to develop their technological solutions. African Women in Agricultural Research and Development — Climate Action Fellowship
The AWARD Climate Action Fellowship aims to develop the leadership and technical capacities of African women in climate change adaptation. The one-year program offers leadership development, gender integration training, mentorship, and the opportunity to implement Climate Research and Innovation Projects. Eligible applicants are women from Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, or Senegal, holding at least a master’s degree in relevant fields, with a minimum of two years’ experience in climate-related work, and residing in Africa throughout the fellowship period. U.S. Department of State — Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships 2026-2027
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program supports non-degree academic study and related professional experiences in the U.S. for experienced professionals from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Fellows are hosted at universities in the USA. Program fields include agriculture and rural development; natural resources, environmental policy, climate change; and many others. Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund — Implementation Team for the Guinean Forests of West Africa
The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites expressions of interest from organizations interested in serving as the regional implementation team for the Guinean Forests Biodiversity Hotspot (Benin, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Sierra Leone and Togo). SEAMEO — Education for Sustainable Development
The SEAMEO-Japan Education for Sustainable Development Award invites public and private schools across Southeast Asia to showcase initiatives that enhance community resilience through local wisdom in disaster risk reduction. The first prize includes US$1,000 and a study tour to Japan for selected students and teachers. Second and third prizes are US$600 and US$400, respectively. The Pollination Project — Animal Welfare Grants
The Pollination Project (TPP) supports individuals and groups who are working to protect farmed animals. TPP funds projects that aim to reduce the consumption of animals, advocate for farmed animal welfare, and raise awareness about farmed animal cruelty. The Pollination Project supports individuals and groups with US$1,000. Grants are open to anyone in the world, but applications from people in Brazil, India, and Mexico are especially welcome. Government of Canada — Biodiversity Financing
The International Biodiversity Program by halting and reversing biodiversity loss in collaboration with women and Indigenous Peoples. The program focuses on reversing biodiversity loss by addressing its direct drivers beyond climate change—namely, land- and sea-use change, the overexploitation of species, invasive alien species, pollution, and agriculture. Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean — Shipboard Fellowship 2025
The Partnership for Observation of the Global Ocean (POGO) offers several shipboard fellowship opportunities. This fellowship program aims to promote training and capacity building leading towards a global observation scheme for the oceans. Eligibility extends to early career scientists, technicians, PhD and MSc students, and Post-doctoral Fellows involved in oceanographic work at centers in developing countries and countries with economies in transition. Selected candidates will receive subsidies to visit the host institution and to go on the cruise, as well as training on seafaring medical and sea survival. Applications can be submitted anytime.
