The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) launches the Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Program. Participants will have access to two workshops and receive tailored mentorship from green job practitioners and experts. Espacio Lodo seeks people who run startups focused on the agricultural ecosystem. Young entrepreneurs from all over Latin America can promote their technology-based Agtech Startups. NewGen — Renewable Energy Accelerator

The NewGen Renewable Energy Accelerator (NewGen) supports the development and implementation of youth-led solutions in the climate and sustainable energy sectors. The program consists of a series of training, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing activities. Youth-led start-ups, scale-ups, and growth businesses from all around the world can apply. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Serbia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia. CFLI provides funding to projects that implement environment and climate action projects focusing on adaptation and mitigation, water management, and other thematic priorities. The average contribution is C$24 thousand to C$30 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to not-for-profit local, national, or community-based organizations. German Government — Microgrants Africa

The German Embassy seeks to support NGOs and other civil society actors which support marginalized, and impoverished communities in South Africa, Lesotho, and Eswatini. The micro-project scheme contributes to poverty alleviation and improvement of living standards, to cover the basic needs, especially in rural areas. A maximum amount of €25 thousand can be granted per project. Project examples to be funded are boreholes, garden projects, shelters for vulnerable children, construction/renovation of school classes, and income-generating articles. Holohil Systems Ltd. — Transmitters for Wildlife Conservation

Holohil Systems Ltd. supplies radio-tracking equipment and related services for wildlife research and management. Holohil manages a grant program to offer transmitters at a reduced or no cost for projects focusing on wildlife species of especially high research and/or conservation value. Holohil will contribute up to C$2,500 toward the purchase of transmitters. Holohil will pay all shipping charges. Eligibility to apply for the grants extends to conservation professionals and researchers anywhere in the world. Support is awarded four times a year. The application deadlines are 15 January, 15 April, 15 July, and 15 October each year. About the Program

Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation — Pelagos Initiative

The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation (PA2F) funds and promotes activities for the protection, conservation, and awareness of the Pelagos Sanctuary with a specific focus on biodiversity conservation, and climate action. PA2F encourages submissions of projects that may include knowledge acquisition, conservation, and restoration measures, lobbying/advocacy, or awareness-raising projects. Funding ranges from €100 thousand to €300 thousand per project. Applications must be sent before 19 April 2024. Pelagos Initiative

Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research — AgriTech Innovation Challenge Egypt

CGIAR seeks scientists and entrepreneurs working on agri-tech solutions for a more sustainable, efficient, and climate-resilient agricultural system in Egypt. The AgriTech4Egypt Innovation Challenge is designed specifically for early-stage agri-tech ventures. Participants will receive support to build the foundations of an agri-tech venture for scalable growth in Egypt. The challenge is open to national and international innovation teams. The World Around — Young Climate Prize

The World Around calls for applications to the Young Climate Prize. World Around seeks young people who are working on their self-started projects that address, draw attention to, or mitigate climate change in their communities. The program will provide visibility, support, and mentorship for 25 of the world’s most talented and passionate climate designers. Anyone aged 13-25 from anywhere can submit their work. 776 Foundation — Tackling Climate Change

The 776 Fellowship is a two-year, full-time program. Fellows will receive a US$100 thousand grant over two years to work on projects to fight climate change instead of pursuing a university degree. Fellows must be ages 18 to 24 and can live anywhere in the world. Fellows will have access to founder networks, various programming, and access to a venture fund’s operating system.
