The EU-ECOWAS Scholarship Program provides scholarships for masters’ degrees in the sustainable energy sector at specialized universities in West Africa (Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo). The program offers two types of scholarships: Mobile Scholarships and Stationary Scholarships. Applicants must be nationals of a member state of ECOWAS or Mauritania. U.S. Department of State — Professional Fellows Program for Latin America and the Caribbean
The U.S. Department of State invites proposal submissions for the Young Leaders of the Americas (YLAI) Fellowship Program. The global exchange program will support approx. 250 social entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean in a five to six-week Fellowship program, including entrepreneurial training and workshops. Turkish Government — Türkiye Scholarships Burslari 2023
The Turkish Government offers scholarships to international students. The government-funded scholarship program is awarded to students that pursue full-time or short-term programs at universities in Turkey. Fields of study include Agriculture, Natural and Applied Sciences, amongst many others. Applications are open from students from all around the world. World Bank — Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program
The JJ/WBGSP Scholarship Program provides scholarships to professionals from developing countries who are applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic. Applicants must first apply for admission to one or more of the Partner Master’s Degree Programs to be eligible for a scholarship. Scholarship recipients receive travel allowance; tuition for the graduate program; basic medical insurance; and a monthly subsistence allowance to cover all living expenses (accommodations, food, etc., including books). U.S. Government — International Environmental Governance Capacity Building
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency seeks applications for a collaborative program that would enhance environmental governance capacity in several regions in Central America and the Caribbean, South America, the Middle East and North Africa, and other bilateral initiatives, including Mexico, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Sub-Sahara Africa, Ukraine, and Brazil. The Global Solvers Accelerator is an eight-month project-based collaborative learning workshop furthering the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Young One World Lead2030 Challenge for SDG 14 seeks solutions that could protect and/or restore existing ocean based resources. The challenge welcomes solutions from entrepreneurs with for-profit enterprises. The winner will receive a US$50 thousand project startup grant and 12-months of mentorship from Credit Suisse. Commonwealth Scholarship Commission — Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships
The Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at students from low- and middle-income countries who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. Awards are tenable for a 12-month period of study at any approved UK university or higher education institution for a specific program of research. Australia and Pacific Science Foundation — Research Grants 2023
The Australia and Pacific Science Foundation (APSF) makes research grants in ecology, biodiversity, and life sciences in Australia and the Southwest Pacific region.
