Cultural Survival — Indigenous Youth Fellowships

The Indigenous Youth Fellowship Project supports young Indigenous leaders between the ages of 17-28. Fellows work to represent the voices of their communities and bring awareness of local issues in the transition to renewable energy to global conversation. Grants range from US$2,500 to US$6,000. The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in the Philippines. CFLI provides funding to projects that implement environment and climate action projects focusing on adaptation and mitigation, water management, and other thematic priorities. French Institute for Development Research — Climate Education in the Caribbean

The French Research Institute for Development (IRD) seeks to improve primary, secondary and higher education on geohazards and climate change in the Caribbean region. The grant recipient needs to develop teaching materials and tools for basic and higher levels education and be able to develop a regional database to facilitate the sharing among institutions in the Caribbean region. The MedFund — Marine Biodiversity Conservation

The MedFund provides sustainable funding for marine biodiversity conservation. MedFund launches a call for interest dedicated to support Mediterranean MPAs’ managers by funding day to day management costs of protected marine areas. The funding request must not exceed an average annual amount of €75 thousand. Google — Environmental Journalism and Science Communication

The Sustainability Laboratory supports journalism and local content creators who work in the coverage of environmental issues and science communication. The program offers training to organizations and communication professionals in Brazil specialized in the coverage of environmental topics. The program will select 20 organizations from all regions of the country to participate in training and workshops. Eligibility extends to professional news organizations located in Brazil. Swedish Research Council — Research Grants in Development Research

The Swedish Research Council funds research projects relevant to the fight against poverty and for sustainable development in low income countries. The applicant for a research project grant must be an individual researcher.
