The COFO Working Group Drylands Global School 2025 is a capacity-building program aimed at professionals engaged in dryland management. The 2025 edition will take place in July 2025 in Mongolia, focusing on enhancing governance of dryland forests, rangelands, and agrosilvopastoral systems. While the school itself is free of charge, the participants or their organizations need to cover their travel and accommodation costs. Pôle International Francophone des Gestionnaires de Sites Patrimoniaux — International Training in Sustainable Heritage Site Management
The French-speaking International Pole of the Great Sites Network of France (RGSF) invites applications for the 10th edition of the Intensive International Training “Building the Future of Heritage Sites together: Developing and Implementing Sustainable Management”. The training is intended for francophone managers working on natural or cultural heritage sites who wish to improve their professional practice. The workshop will be held in Bibracte-Morvan des Sommets (France). The program does not offer direct financial support but candidates from emerging countries will receive support in their search for a scholarship(s), provided that a local or national administration of the applicant’s home state agrees to finance at least part of the expenses. The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) hosts the 3rd edition of the Youth AgriChampions – a Peer2Peer workshop series on climate adaptation in agriculture. The workshop is designed for youth grassroots voices in smallholder farming and agricultural entrepreneurship in Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia. European Union — Online Acceleration Programme for Women Entrepreneurs
The BIC Africa Acceleration Program supports women entrepreneurs from Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Somalia, and 5 others from other Sub-Saharan African countries. The program will run from April to July 2025 for 4 months, and it will focus on established post-revenue women entrepreneurs with a registered startup or business. European Commission — Young Energy Ambassadors Program 2025
The Young Energy Ambassadors (YEA) program offers individuals aged 18 to 35 the opportunity to engage in EU energy policy making and promote a clean, fair energy transition. Ambassadors will participate in the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) from June 10-12, 2025, and contribute to the European Youth Energy Day. The year-long mandate includes mentorship, workshops, policy dialogues, and media features. Swedish Institute — Women’s Social Enterprise in the MENA Region
The Swedish Institute supports “She Entrepreneurs” to develop women’s leadership in social enterprise in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA region). She Entrepreneurs is intended for women who have already started to build a social business (possibly in subject areas relevant to the Terra Viva Grants Directory). The program consists of seminars, workshops, and interactive learning methods mixed with reflection sessions, team-building, and practical exercises. The Swedish Institute covers the costs of participating in the training program. Eligibility to apply extends to women ages 22 to 45 in Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, or Palestine. Applications can be submitted until 06 March 2025. She Entrepreneurs
