Village Capital — Greentech Europe

Village Capital launches an investment readiness program to support gender-diverse ventures creating sustainable economic, environmental, and social solutions across Europe. The program currently accepts 50 additional startups to participate in an online, self-paced investment-readiness curriculum. The program will run for twelve weeks. U. S. Government — Fellows Program for Young Women in Agribusiness

The Advancing Young Women Professional Fellows Program offers capacity-building in agro-entrepreneurship and agri-food system innovation and advances their ability to support women’s economic empowerment. The U.S. program will include a four-week professional internship in Michigan. The program is open to young female agribusiness entrepreneurs working in Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia, or Zimbabwe. EcoSciGen — Climate Research Workshop

The Climate Research Workshop offers a unique training experience for individuals from Africa who are passionate about addressing climate change issues. The 6-month program offers scientific research training to equip young participants with the knowledge and skills needed to become independent researchers in the climate space. Earth Journalism Network — Infrastructure Reporting in Lower Mekong

The Journalist Fellowship for Infrastructure Reporting in Lower Mekong equips mid-career journalists with training, mentoring, and story grants to report on infrastructural development and its impacts on the environment and human rights. EJN will select 15 journalists who will take part in a series of online training sessions and a two-day in-person workshop in March 2024. EJN will cover the cost of travel, accommodation, and meals of selected participants. Participants who successfully complete the training will be eligible to apply to receive story grants (US$2000 each). IntelliDigest — Global AgriFood TechPreneur

The Global AgriFood TechPreneur Program is a 12 months food system sustainability business development program for young graduates who wish to transform the food system, end hunger, malnutrition, obesity and food waste. Graduates are invited to submit an application about a food system challenge in their country and their solution to addressing it. EnDev — Solar Home System Liberia

The objective is to provide access to quality, clean, affordable, and better energy services in existing and underserved markets across Liberia through stand-alone solar home systems and close the affordability gap faced by the most vulnerable parts of the population. Companies will receive a financial incentive for achieving sales and installation of Solar Home System to customers. Sustainable Energy for All — Women in STEM Traineeship

Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) helps women and youth in energy transition by supporting their entry into and career progression within the sector. The SEforALL Traineeship provides a training opportunity complemented by on-the-job learning, including site visits, workshops, and supplementary training programs. Singapore International Foundation — Young Social Entrepreneurs

Young Social Entrepreneurs (YSE) Global is an eight-month program for young changemakers who wish to start or scale up their social enterprises in Singapore and beyond. Participants have access to online workshops, remote mentorship, regional learning and pitching sessions. Shortlisted teams have the chance to win S$20 thousand in funding to launch or scale their social enterprise. Eligibility extends to individuals aged between 18 to 35 years, with a viable and innovative business solution to a social issue anywhere in the world. World Bank — Youth Innovation Challenge

The World Bank invites youth aquapreneurs (age 18-35) to apply to the Youth Innovation Challenge: Water Solutions for a New Climate Reality. Participants will receive training, support, and mentorship from World Bank professionals. The challenge is open to youth entrepreneurs from around the world. Free Press Unlimited — Climate Change Fellowship Program

Free Press Unlimited announces two Climate Change Fellowship Programs for journalists in the Middle East and North Africa. The Fellowship Programs will enable 20 fellows to tell a better climate story and inform their audience by creating stories that go beyond highlighting the problem and come with constructive solutions. The fellowship consists of training and individual coaching. All the fellows will receive financial support of €500. Eligible individuals must be journalists or a graduate in journalism operating in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, or Tunisia.
