The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) offers Climate Resilience Fellowships for mid-career professionals working in climate adaptation across the public, private, or civil society sectors in Commonwealth Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The fellowship combines an 18-week online course, a five-day in-person residency in Fiji, and a five-month workplace project, providing expert mentoring, peer networking, and access to a global community of practice. All costs—tuition, travel, accommodation, and materials—are fully covered by the fellowship. Eligible applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of an eligible SIDS country. Earth Journalism Network — Media Grants to Support Coverage of Marine Conservation
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers media grants to newsrooms and media organizations in coastal countries, with particular focus on Ghana, Mexico, and the Philippines, to support in-depth and enterprise reporting projects, initiatives to train journalists and other activities designed to increase media coverage and the capacity of journalists to report on 30×30 marine conservation targets. Earth Journalism Network — Climate Media Initiative Seed Grants for Media Outlets
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) invites media outlets based in Thailand or Indonesia to apply for seed grants of up to €8,000 to launch new reporting programs focused on how business and the private sector are engaging with climate change. Applicants can be newspapers, online media, radio, television, multimedia platforms or social-media channels; proposals must commit to producing at least five stories or episodes and aim for sustained integration into existing media programming. MedWet — World Wetlands Day
MedWet launches a call for projects to financially support actors in the realization of educational animations within the framework of the World Wetlands Day 2025. MedWet will select up to 34 projects and provide financial support of €250 for the implementation of campaigns and educational activities that highlight the importance of wetlands for humanity and the planet. European Space Agency — Living Planet Fellowship 2025
The European Space Agency (ESA) invites young researchers to submit research proposals for the Living Planet Fellowship 2018. Eligible research areas are (1) Advancing Novel Methods and Techniques; and (2) Advancing Earth System Science. The Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) invites individuals with a demonstrated commitment to promoting peace and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region to apply for a 9-month program of leadership training and professional development on emerging issues. Inter-disciplinary interests at the East-West Center include climate change, land use, water and energy demands, etc., — among other social and environmental themes. D-Prize — Funding Entrepreneurs to Alleviate Poverty
The D-Prize funds pilot projects that more widely distribute relatively low-cost products and services in the fight against poverty. The current challenges include social enterprises for innovations in specified themes of agriculture; energy; WASH; and several other categories. The D-Prize will award 30 teams with up to US$20 thousand each to launch nonprofits or social ventures that can distribute proven poverty interventions to people in need. Eligibility to compete extends to entrepreneurs anywhere in the world and of any age or background. African Leadership Academy — Anzisha Prize for Young Innovators
The Anzisha Prize seeks young innovators ages 15-22 in Africa who develop and implement innovative solutions to challenges facing their communities. Past awards include innovations in energy, agriculture, and ecological consumer products. The grand prize winners will share prizes worth US$140 thousand. The Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance invites innovative solutions that address barriers to climate investment in emerging markets and support the transition to a net-zero economy. The call for ideas covers four programs, each with distinct priorities. In 2026, the Lab will develop at least eight ideas. Box Impact Fund — Digital Transformation to Save our Planet
The Box Impact Fund will award a total of US$150 thousand to six different non-profit organizations pursuing digital transformation projects. Each selected organization will receive a US$25 thousand grant to put their idea into action.
