United Nations Development Programme — Climate Innovation Accelerator
The Adaptation Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator (AFCIA) accepts applications for small grant funding. Grants are US$60 thousand (for new pilot projects) or US$125 thousand (for organizations with established customers). Funding should be used to enhance local climate action through the implementation of innovative locally-led adaptation practices, tools, and technologies. The European Commission seeks to contribute to green and inclusive economic growth in Mexico by strengthening the capacity of civil society to participate and influence reinforcing nature-based climate change adaptation measures. Global Landscapes Forum — Seed Funding to Protect and Restore Forests
The Global Landscapes Forum (GLFx) provides seed funding to protect and restore forest areas in Africa. Applications run through GLF chapters, groups of local change agents that mobilize their communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable landscape restoration. Selected chapters will receive a seed fund of €5 thousand to run chapter activities such as community training, workshops and toolkits to facilitate the implementation of community action plans. The ONE Africa Award honors the exceptional work of individuals and organizations based in Africa to help Africa achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Office of Private Sector Exchange (BridgeUSA) announces an open competition for the administration of the 2023 BridgeUSA STEM Scholarship Fund.
