The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives supports small-scale, high-impact projects in Sao Tome and Principe. Sea Pact — Funding for Fisheries and Aquaculture

Sea Pact is a consortium of seafood companies to support continuous improvements of fisheries and aquaculture in an international context. Sea Pact accepts applications from non-profit and for-profit organizations. Past grant recipients include conservation organizations, marine research organizations, development NGOs, and others. F5 — Tech for Good Impact Grants

F5 provides Tech for Good Impact Grants and in-kind donations to help nonprofits update the technological resources they need to address the effects climate change has upon people of color and/or marginalized racial or ethnic communities. The size of the Tech for Good grants is US$50 thousand. Grant funding is open to non-profits in all countries. Applicants must address issues related to environmental justice, such as (but not limited to) climate change mitigation/resilience, hazardous or toxic waste, biodiversity, or environmental education. Global Development Network — Global Development Awards Competition 2024

The Global Development Awards Competition is open for applications. The awards recognize excellence in policy-oriented research, support research capacity development of researchers in low and middle-income countries, and fund innovative social development projects benefiting marginalized groups in the developing world. The competition will feature two categories: a competitive research grant program (worth US$30 thousand) that funds outstanding research proposals that address development issues in low and middle-income countries and a competitive grant program (worth US$45 thousand and US$135 thousand) that supports non-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in low or lower-middle-income countries. The Global Development Network will host open sessions for prospective applicants to provide them with additional information and answer their questions about the application process. About Her Culture — Micro Grants for African and Caribbean Women

About Her Culture offers micro-grants of US$500 to empower African and Caribbean women around the world for social and economic development. The micro-grants are open to women of Caribbean and African descent, who are entrepreneurs, creatives, and non-profit founders, based in their home countries or anywhere around the world. Irish Government — Funding for Micro-Projects in the Pacific

The Embassy of Ireland, Canberra (ICMPS) offers grants of up to US$20 thousand to organizations in the Pacific that work on issues related to women’s rights, climate change, biodiversity, conflict resolution, and human rights. Organizations must be based in the Pacific and be an indigenous, locally managed, non-profit organization. Applications are due by 11 April 2023. IBM — Resilient Cities

The IBM Sustainability Accelerator supports communities vulnerable to environmental challenges. Nonprofit and governmental organizations are encouraged to submit proposals for tech-driven projects advancing resilient cities.
