European Commission — Marie Curie COFUND Program
The Marie Sklowdowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) support research training and career development. The MSCA COFUND scheme aims at stimulating regional, national, or international programs to foster excellence in researchers’ training, mobility, and career development. Each proposal under the COFUND scheme shall have a sole participant who will be responsible for matching funds to execute the proposal. Participants submit multi-annual proposals for new or existing doctoral programs or fellowship programs that may be run at regional, national, or international levels. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation — Atlantic Flyway Shorebirds 2025
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) and partners support the conservation of migratory waterbirds and their habitats through strategic investments to secure populations of three species – American oystercatcher (short distance migrant), whimbrel (mid-distance migrant) and threatened red knot (long-distance migrant). The program focuses on priority shorebird sites along the U.S. Atlantic seaboard (including the Florida Gulf Coast and panhandle) as well as priority wintering sites for each of the focal species in the Caribbean and South America. The award size is not specified, but the majority of awards will fall in the US$75 thousand to US$250 thousand range. AGCO Agriculture Foundation — Quality Education, Research and Innovation in Agriculture
The AGCO Agriculture Foundation (AAF) seeks proposals from non-profit organizations and public universities/educational institutions around the world. AAF considers proposals that increase the capacity of farmers, farming communities, young people and/or women, and facilitates access to the tools, training, activities, and support. Grants between US$200 thousand and US$450 thousand are available. Only non-profits and public universities/educational institutions with innovative solutions targeted at increasing the capacity of farmers are eligible to apply for grant funding. Earthshot Prize — Nominations 2025
The Earthshot Prize searches the globe for game-changing innovations that will help repair our planet. The best five solutions receive £1 million to scale their work. The Catalytic Climate Finance Facility (CC Facility) supports blended finance structures targeting climate action in developing economies. The program provides technical assistance and working capital to accelerate the scaling and deployment of market-ready finance vehicles that target climate change mitigation and/or adaptation. The CC Facility offers grant funding of up to US$500 thousand. Applicants do not need to be domiciled in a developing country but end beneficiaries and target activities must. The EJ4Climate Grant Program supports environmental justice and climate resilience for underserved, vulnerable communities, and Indigenous communities across North America (including Mexico). Possible projects under the grant program could include addressing extreme weather impacts, transitioning to clean energy and/or transportation systems, or utilizing traditional ecological knowledge to address climate change impacts. Loyola Foundation — Catholic Mission Activities
The Loyola Foundation supports family-based charitable organizations in less developed countries worldwide. Past grants have helped finance the installation of solar power plants, water wells, or the construction of churches, schools, and health clinics. Generally, the Foundation accepts requests up to US$20 thousand. Projects must be part of an overseas catholic mission activity.
