Earth Journalism Network — Fellowship for Social Media Creators and Journalists in South and Southeast Asia
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) seeks social media content creators curious to learn more about biodiversity issues and incorporate journalism skills, as well as environmental journalists interested in building their social media skills for a joint fellowship program designed to enable both groups to share insights and create evidence-based and engaging biodiversity-related content on social media. EJN will offer US$2,000 each to 10 social media content creators and 10 journalists across South and Southeast Asia. The Journalism Science Alliance (JSA) grant program aims to foster investigative journalism grounded in scientific principles. This initiative provides grant funding, alongside training, mentoring, and networking opportunities, to cultivate collaboration between journalism and research institutions. The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) invites fellowship applications to boost video content production and distribution of information to build awareness about renewable energy in India. Applications are open to India-based video content producers. EJN will provide remuneration and mentorship to each selected applicant, depending on the proposal and budget provided by the applicant. The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers reporting grants to journalists in Africa to support the production of in-depth stories on threats faced by great apes, particularly the impact of disease and other health considerations, as well as conservation strategies to protect these species and their habitats.
