Schneider Electric Foundation — Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Future Program
The Schneider Electric Foundation launches the Youth Innovation for a Sustainable Future Program which aspires to select the most impactful and innovative 25 youth projects across 5 continents. The program is designed for organizations whose main mission is a social purpose, existing for more than a year. In each continent, the best project will receive €30 thousand. Inter-American Development Bank — Boosting Water Sector Innovation
The Inter-American Development Bank launches the Aquacerta Challenge. The challenge supports innovative solutions from the private sector that can be adopted by service providers in Latin America and the Caribbean to ensure safely managed drinking water and the resilience of water systems. Applicants can apply for contingent recovery financing from US$300 thousand to a maximum of US$500 thousand each. However, applicants should be able to contribute at least 50% in counterpart funds. Global Development Network — Global Development Awards Competition 2024
The Global Development Awards Competition is open for applications. The awards recognize excellence in policy-oriented research, support research capacity development of researchers in low and middle-income countries, and fund innovative social development projects benefiting marginalized groups in the developing world. The competition will feature two categories: a competitive research grant program (worth US$30 thousand) that funds outstanding research proposals that address development issues in low and middle-income countries and a competitive grant program (worth US$45 thousand and US$135 thousand) that supports non-profit Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in low or lower-middle-income countries.
