Selected organizations will receive access to various opportunities and resources to support sustainable landscapes across the world, with a specific focus on Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Vital Voices — Fellowships for Women Entrepreneurs

Vital Voices offers GROW Fellowships to women entrepreneurs who own small and medium-sized businesses. The program includes customized business skills training, technical assistance, leadership development, and access to networks to grow their businesses. Thematic business areas may include agriculture, fisheries, and forestry with potential for growth. A limited number of need and merit-based scholarships will be available. Village Capital — Greentech LATAM

Village Capital launches an investment readiness program that supports startups with innovative solutions to accelerate sustainable development. The program currently accepts startups from Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Uruguay, addressing underestimated communities in the region. The program will run for twelve weeks. Applications will be assessed on a rolling basis, through 09 May 2025. Greentech LATAM

Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Cuba

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Cuba. The priorities under this call include environment, climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, and water management. The average contribution is C$35 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. The deadline for submission is 24 March 2025. CFLI Cuba

Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Colombia

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Colombia. CFLI provides funding to projects that implement environment and climate action projects focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as water management and other thematic areas. The average contribution is C$25 thousand to C$50 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to not-for-profit local, national, or community-based organizations. Coimbra Group of Universities — Scholarships for Professional Mobility

The Coimbra Group is an association of long-established European universities committed to creating academic and cultural ties to promote internationalization. Towards this end, the Coimbra Group offers scholarships to encourage short-term professional and academic experiences in Europe by applicants from Africa, Latin America, and the European Neighborhood. Inter-American Foundation — Grants for NGOs in Latin America and Caribbean

The Inter-American Foundation (IAF) makes grants to non-governmental and community-based organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean to raise the living conditions of disadvantaged populations, and to advance other social goals. The Foundation’s grant-making interests include grassroots projects in agriculture; clean water and sanitation; community conservation; and local management of natural resources (forests, fisheries, etc.). Applicants may request grants in the range of US$25 thousand to US$400 thousand. Applications can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, or Haitian Creole. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Ecuador

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Ecuador. The priorities under this call include women’s economic rights, decent jobs and entrepreneurship, and investing in the poorest and most vulnerable (which may include agriculture or aquaculture projects), as well as water and waste management. The average contribution is C$25 thousand to C$40 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. PAGES — LAC Mobility Fellowship

PAGES runs an International Mobility Research Fellowship Program for Latin American and Caribbean early-career scientists on past global changes. The program aims to contribute to the development of collaborative research and the promotion of paleoscience networks in Latin America and the Caribbean. The fellowship supports Latin American and Caribbean early-career scientists pursuing international research experience in paleoscience and is intended to support costs associated with international travel and living expenses while abroad. Ashoka — Young Changemakers

Ashoka identifies and supports teenagers who start their own initiatives for addressing social and environmental problems. Selected Changemakers are inducted into a global community and gain access to co-leadership bootcamps, media partnerships, public speaking platforms, exposure visits, strategic allies and more opportunities to grow and to influence youth culture in their countries. Candidates must be under 20 years of age to participate. Ashoka offers youth related activities in Nigeria, Brazil, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the United States. Expressions of interest can be submitted all year-round. Nominations for Ashoka Young Changemakers are accepted year-round. Details
