International Science Partnerships Fund — Amazon Workshop Grants
The International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) invites joint proposals from UK and Brazilian researchers to support collaborative development-focused research in the Brazilian Amazon. Workshops must bring together early-career researchers to address development, biodiversity, climate, and land-use issues in the Legal Amazon, and host up to 40 participants. U.S. Department of State — TechGirls 2026
TechGirls is an international summer exchange program designed to empower and inspire young women from around the world to pursue careers in science and technology. The program is open to teenage girls (ages 15-17) from eligible countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, the Middle East and North Africa, South and Central Asia, and Latin America. TechGirls covers the costs of travel, accommodation, and meals for participation in the technology camp hosted by Virginia Tech University. The application will close on 04 December 2025. University of Antwerp — Masters Program in Development Studies
The University of Antwerp’s Institute of Development Policy and Management (IOB) offers three specializations for one-year master’s programs in development studies. Topics include poverty, climate change, conflict, good governance, sustainable development, and others. The Institute of Development Policy awards scholarships to students from many countries of Africa, Asia, and Latin America for studies at Belgian universities that include Antwerp’s IOB. The Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation for the Americas (MCFA) makes grants to nonprofit charitable organizations in Canada, the USA, and Latin America for biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, environmental justice, and environmental education. Most recent grants are for two to four years, ranging from under US$30 thousand up to US$1 million. The ideal timing for submitting proposals is during the first quarter of the calendar year. Link

The Commonwealth Youth Awards for Excellence in Development Work recognize individuals ages 15 to 29 who lead innovative development projects in themes that include agriculture, small enterprise, skills training, climate change, environmental protection, sustainable livelihoods, and poverty reduction. The program selects regional winners from each of Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. Winners are awarded grants of up to a total of £5 thousand in total to advance their projects. Caribbean Biodiversity Fund — Advancing Circular Economy
The Caribbean Biodiversity Fund (CBF) seeks applications for projects that promote and apply practical circular economy principles to minimize or prevent waste from entering the marine environment. Grant funding amounts range from US$400 thousand to US$2 million and need to be complemented by co-financing. HawkWatch International — Global Raptor Research & Conservation Grant
HawkWatch International invites local researchers to apply for grants supporting research or conservation work on threatened, understudied raptor species worldwide. Applicants may request up to $3,500, with up to three grants awarded per year; prior recipients may apply for one additional year of continued funding. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the country where the project takes place, affiliated with a registered NGO or university there, and working on a species ranked as high-priority under HawkWatch’s own scoring system, which combines extinction risk with evolutionary distinctiveness and research neglect. Projects based in the USA, Canada, or Europe are not eligible, nor are proposals submitted in any language other than English. All grant activities must be completed within 18 months. Climate Change and Health Hub — Climate-Health Projects
The LAC Hub for Climate Change and Health (CLIMAS) supports research-backed projects that transform climate-health knowledge into practical tools, policies, and actions, focusing on three key areas: training health professionals for climate-induced emergencies and disease outbreaks. Funding is scaled by project size—from COP 250 million (small), COP 251–500 million (medium), up to COP 900 million (large)—with implementation expected to run for 12 to 24 months.
