The Brookfield Zoo Chicago administers conservation grants funded by the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). The AI4D Innovation Scaling Challenge offers up to US$100 thousand in seed funding to scale AI solutions already deployed in real-world settings across Sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative supports innovations addressing climate action, agriculture, education, gender/disability inclusion, and inequality, and provides not only funding but also mentorship. Nippon Foundation — Ocean Fellowship
The United Nations–Nippon Foundation Fellowship provides government officials and other mid-level professionals from developing states with advanced training on ocean affairs and the law of the sea. The 9-month fellowship program is composed of two consecutive phases which provide fellows with advanced and customized research and training opportunities. Fellows will receive a stipend each month during their fellowship. The stipend is intended to cover the cost of lodging, boarding, and other essentials such as local transport. In addition to the stipend, fellows will be provided with a book allowance of US$100 per month. Candidates must be between the ages of 25 and 40. Vital Impacts — Environmental Photography Grant
The Vital Impacts Environmental Photography Grant offers one US$20 thousand grant for an established photographer and six US$5 thousand grants for emerging photographers to support 12-month documentary projects focused on local, solution-oriented environmental or wildlife conservation stories. International Iguana Foundation — Grants for Iguana Conservation
The International Iguana Foundation makes grants to promote and enable iguana conservation. Preference will be given to projects that are components of approved species recovery plans; projects that directly contribute to the survival of endangered iguanas and their habitats; and projects that are part of an established conservation program. The Foundation looks for projects that have participation from range-countries and matching funds. Small-tier grants provide up to US$10 thousand over 1 year.
