Earth Journalism Network — Climate Resilience
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers a training and grant opportunity for social media content producers in the Philippines. As part of this program, EJN will offer P108 thousand each to 10 social media content producers in the Philippines. Selected content producers will participate in a 4-day in-person training workshop on climate change and climate resilience and, with support from mentors, produce and disseminate four pieces of climate-related video content on social media platforms. EJN accepts applications from social media content producers who actively and frequently post short-form videos on TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, or other leading social media platforms. The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) hosts a virtual media workshop for journalists from Africa interested in reporting on net zero. World Bank Group — Africa Fellowship Program 2025
The Africa Region of the World Bank Group seeks applications for the 2025 WBG-Africa Fellowship Program for Ph.D. Students and recent Ph.D. graduates who are Sub-Saharan nationals. Fellows will spend at least six months at the World Bank offices in Washington, D.C., or in a Sub-Saharan country, getting hands-on experience in development work. While benefiting from research and innovation in multiple sectors, fellows will also work on economic policy, technical assistance, and lending to eliminate poverty and increase shared prosperity. Fellows will receive consultant fees, economy-class air travel, and worker’s compensation insurance.
