The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) accepts applications for the Ulam Programme. The Program allows exchange visits (6-24 months) of scientists from all around the world to Poland in order to strengthen the scientific potential of Polish entities and increase scientific internationalization in all fields of science. Land Accelerator — Restoration of Degraded Forests and Farmland (Latin America)
The Land Accelerator trains and supports entrepreneurs that restore degraded forests and farmland. The program offers an all-virtual business creation and growth accelerator in Latin America. The accelerator is designed for companies that are in the testing phase of taking their product to market. Any business model that is recognized as restoring land is eligible, including, but not limited to smart agriculture, water conservation, agroforestry, tree planting, and beekeeping, forest conservation. United Nations Development Programme — End Plastic Pollution
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications for the Ending Plastic Pollution Innovation Challenge (EPPIC). EPPIC targets the Mandalika Special Economic Zone, Lombok Island in Indonesia, and Samal Island in the Philippines. UNDP will select 10 to 15 finalists to participate in a 3-month solution incubation program; 2 to 4 finalists will be selected as winners and receive up to US$18 thousand each. Celebrate Islands — Video Contest for Project Funding
Celebrate Islands invites video submissions for a contest “My project in 120 seconds” giving winners the opportunity to implement a small project on their island. Projects need to be achievable within one month and may focus on biodiversity conservation, ecological restoration, waste and plastic, sustainable economic activities (such as fisheries, agriculture, etc.), water efficiency or energy supply. Celebrate Islands intends to award 3 projects with €3 thousand each. Island projects can be submitted from all around the world but need to focus on an island of less than 150km². The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites current and former grantees to enter the 2021 Digital Photo Contest. CEPF is looking for images that show how their support enables people to protect hotspot species and critical ecosystems, and participate in sustainable livelihoods. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service — Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund Asia
The Rhinoceros and Tiger Conservation Fund (RTCF) solicits proposals for the conservation of Asian rhinoceroses and tigers. Grants are for applied research, training, conservation management, community outreach, law enforcement, decreased human-wildlife conflicts, and other activities in conservation. Grants should range from US$50 thousand to a maximum of US$500 thousand and match the scope of the activities and the length of the project period. Primate Conservation Inc. — Funding for Primate Research
Primate Conservation, Incorporated (PCI) supports conservation programs for wild populations of primates. PCI offers seed monies and matching grants for graduate students, qualified conservationists, and primatologists to study rare and endangered primates. The maximum grant amount is US$5 thousand. IFOAM – Organics International — Organic Farming Innovation Award
IFOAM – Organics International and partners accept applications for the Organic Farming Innovation Award (OFIA). OFIA highlights exceptional innovations and incentivizes activities among researchers, extension agents, practitioners that contribute to solving problems in organic farming. The prize is awarded in two categories: the Grand Prize and the Science Prize. Each winner will receive a monetary award (Grand Prize: US$10 thousand and Science Prize: US$5 thousand), and be invited to the 20th edition of the Organic World Congress.
