Yale School of the Environment — Film Contest

The Yale Environment 360 Film Contest accepts entries of environmental films from around the world. Submissions should focus on an environmental issue and be a maximum of 20 minutes in length. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Pakistan

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Pakistan. The priorities under this call include one on environment and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management. The average contribution is C$30 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations — Global Forestry Recognition

The FAO 80 Global Forestry Recognition initiative aims to honor individuals and organizations worldwide that have made outstanding contributions to sustainable forest management and the transformation of agrifood systems over the past 80 years. Nominations are open to individuals, institutions, and organizations that have achieved long-term results in forest production, conservation, sustainable use of forest resources, or have implemented effective forest policies and strategies. U.S. Department of State — Professional Fellows Program for Latin America and the Caribbean

The U.S. Department of State invites proposal submissions for the Young Leaders of the Americas (YLAI) Fellowship Program. The global exchange program will support approx. 250 social entrepreneurs from Latin America and the Caribbean in a five to four-week Fellowship program, including entrepreneurial training and workshops. Asia-Pacific Network for Sustainable Forest Management and Rehabilitation — Visiting Scholars Program

​The Asia-Pacific Network for Sustainable Forest Management and Rehabilitation (APFNet) offers a grant opportunity aimed at enhancing sustainable forest management and rehabilitation in the Asia-Pacific region.The Visiting Scholar Program supports young researchers in conducting scientific research and academic exchanges in sustainable forest management and rehabilitation. The Program offers scholars 3 or 6-month visits to YAFG to join research programs in the fields of silviculture, forest ecology, biological engineering, forest product processing, economic forestry, forest pest and disease management, and desertification control. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) seeks to honor individuals, institutions, initiatives, and programs that have significantly impacted forestry development at national, regional, or global levels. Selected nominees will be recognized for their achievements across ten thematic areas, including forest restoration, biodiversity, climate action, and innovation. The call for nominations is open to governmental institutions; national, regional or local agencies; intergovernmental organizations; non-government organizations; academia; community service organizations; and the private sector. Association of Commonwealth Universities — Higher Education and SDGs Grants

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) accepts applications for the Higher Education and the SDGs Challenge Grants to fund collaborative work around the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The grants are open to professional and academic staff at ACU member universities. Four grants of £2,500 are available. Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with member universities to promote further Commonwealth partnerships or other organizations such as local governments. The closing date is 03 June 2025. Global Landscapes Forum — GLFx Local Chapters

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) calls for local non-governmental organizations and grassroots initiatives to join the GLFx network as local chapters. Selected organizations will receive access to various opportunities and resources to support sustainable landscapes across the world, with a specific focus on Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Royal Society of Biology — Photography Competition

The Royal Society of Biology invites amateurs to submit photographs that show the efforts, challenges and wins restoring biodiversity and habitat. The winners receive cash prizes of up to £1,000.
