The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks applications from qualified entities to reduce threats to biodiversity resulting from the illegal wildlife trade in Uganda. Project proposals under this call should include activities in inter-agency cooperation, law enforcement capacity building, and information sharing for better implementation of anti-wildlife crime approaches. USAID intends to provide up to US$4 million, to be allocated over the five-year period. Eligibility for this call is not restricted. The Douglas Tweedale Memorial Fellowship will be awarded to two Latin American journalists who seek to improve their environmental reporting skills. The two-week professional program will take place in Lima (Peru). The Wilson Center Latin America Fellowship Program 2019/2020 seeks applications to conduct research about and propose concrete solutions to the range of environmental threats faced by countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
