The Fellowship may be granted for a maximum period of five years. LUMS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs, such as food, accommodation, and local transportation. The Embassy of Ireland, Canberra (ICMPS) offers grants of up to US$20 thousand to organizations in the Pacific that work on issues related to women’s rights, climate change, biodiversity, conflict resolution, and human rights. Organizations must be based in the Pacific and be an indigenous, locally managed, non-profit organization. Applications are due by 11 April 2023. The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to Canada’s economic, social, and research-based growth. A total of 70 fellowships are awarded annually. Foreign citizens who are not permanent residents of Canada may only apply if they hold their fellowship at a Canadian institution.
