IHE Delft Institute for Water Education — MSc Scholarship

IHE Delft offers 4 scholarships that cover the full tuition fee of the MSc program on Water and Sustainable Development to citizens from Latin America or the Caribbean. The scholarship includes tuition fees, insurance, international travel costs, and an allowance of €1,115 per month for the cost of living and accommodation. Zendesk — Tech for Good Impact Awards

The Zendesk Tech for Good Impact Awards provides free software and multiple grants ranging from US$5 thousand to US$50 thousand to global nonprofit organizations. Impact Awards are made to products that promote resilience, foster community, and increase access to careers in technology in areas that range from refugee rights to environmental justice. UNESCO World Heritage Center — Requests for International Assistance

Grants under the World Heritage Convention are made to help protect the World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites. Requests must be transmitted by a State Party National Commission for UNESCO or Permanent Delegation to UNESCO, or an appropriate governmental department or ministry. The limits on funding vary with the type of request (e.g., technical cooperation, training and research, promotion and education, preparatory assistance, emergency assistance). 11th Hour Racing — Ocean Health and Marine Stewardship

11th Hour Racing supports innovative projects that address environmental challenges in coastal communities and the marine industry. The program offers funding to non-profit organizations globally, though it prioritizes projects in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and the East Coast of the United States. Grants typically support initiatives focused on ocean literacy, plastic pollution reduction, clean maritime technologies, and ecosystem restoration. Most awards range from US$40 thousand to US$150 thousand for a one-year period, with an average grant size of US$75 thousand. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. Union for the Mediterranean — Project Implementation Support

The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) does not fund the implementation of the projects but it assists project development, the search for financial resources, and the search for political and technical support needed for project implementation. UfM promotes a wide range of projects in the Mediterranean region in subject areas that include energy and climate, water, environment, blue economy, and several others. Leakey Foundation — Field School Scholarship

The Joan Cogswell Donner Field School Scholarship provides up to US$2 thousand towards field school tuition for students to support training in fieldwork related to human origins research. Applications for this scholarship have to be submitted by the field school director, not the scholarship recipient. Recipients must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a country where there are limited resources for academic development. The scholarship is awarded year-round. The Earth Foundation — Earth Prize Schools Competition

The Earth Foundation invites secondary school students aged 13–19, working individually or in teams, to propose innovative solutions to environmental challenges at the local, national, or global level. Participants receive mentorship, learning resources, and expert guidance to refine their projects, with selected entries competing for cash prizes of up to US$12,500. Mangrove Breakthrough — Mangrove Conservation and Restoration

Mangrove Breakthrough seeks projects worldwide that protect, restore or support mangrove ecosystems. Eligible proposals include mangrove restoration or conservation; blue-carbon finance; biodiversity or climate-linked crediting mechanisms; community-based livelihood or stewardship initiatives; nature-tech or monitoring tools for mangrove health; and sustainable businesses tied to mangrove landscapes (e.g. fisheries, coastal agriculture, eco-tourism). Successful submissions gain visibility, exposure at global climate events, and access to investors or funders. The deadline to submit the Expression of Interest is 30 January 2026. University of Pennsylvania — Sustainability and Conservation Science Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Sustainability and Conservation Science Postdoctoral Fellowship supports early-career researchers conducting interdisciplinary work at the intersection of environmental science, conservation, sustainability, and policy-relevant research. Free Electrons — Clean Energy Transition

The Free Electrons Program is a global open-innovation accelerator that connects energy startups with leading utilities and energy system operators to pilot and scale breakthrough solutions for the energy transition. The program is open to startups worldwide with mature, market-ready technologies addressing areas such as grid digitalization, renewables integration, energy storage, flexibility, electrification, and climate resilience. Selected startups receive non-dilutive support, including paid pilot opportunities, access to utility partners, technical validation, mentoring, and global exposure (rather than a fixed cash grant).
