Blue Action Fund — Asia-Pacific Region

The Blue Action Fund announces a new open call for grant proposals focusing on the Asia-Pacific Region. The Fund provides individual grants to selected conservation projects with focus on marine protected areas (MPAs) to support conservation of biodiversity, and projects that seek to enhance livelihood conditions and food security. The Fund will award grants of €2-4 million. Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations with proven experience in coastal and marine conservation and sustainable livelihood development in the area. Banyan Tree Global Foundation — Greater Good Grants

Bayan Tree Global Foundation accepts applications for the “2024 Greater Good Grants,” which aim to impactful initiatives that benefit local communities and environments in Mexico, Cuba, Morocco, Islands in Eastern Africa and Southeast Asia. The main focus areas for projects include freshwater access, alternative livelihood development that protects the environment, management of food waste and humanitarian themes. Vegan Society — Grant Program

The Vegan Society supports projects which will encourage non-vegans to go vegan and stay vegan. Projects should raise public awareness of veganism, promote veganism to non-vegans, and support people from marginalized backgrounds to access veganism. The typical award is no more than £1 thousand. Philip Henman Trust — Grants for Development Projects 2023

The Philip Henman Trust makes grants to UK-based development organizations, with few restrictions on thematic areas. It is important that the project provides a lasting beneficial impact for the people, communities or environment it seeks to help. Support is normally between £3 thousand and £5 thousand per year, with a maximum total of £25 thousand. The closing date for applications is 10 September 2023. Find details here
