Moi University — Mobility for Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies

The Mobility for Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies (MIRET) project aims to build the capacity of graduate students needed to develop sustainable local solutions in the energy sector. MIRET invites qualified applicants to apply for scholarships to study at any of the five African Universities consortium: Moi University in Kenya, University of Zambia, Makerere University in Uganda, University of SFAX in Tunisia, and the University of BUEA in Cameroon. International Water Center — Master of Catchment Science Scholarships

Australia’s International Water Center announces funding for two international candidates accepted into the Master of Catchment Science in Australia. The scholarship will cover tuition fees of up to AU$56 thousand for full-time studies (2 years) in Brisbane, Australia. The program is open to candidates from all around the world. International Sustainability Academy — Scholarship in Hamburg (Germany)

The International Sustainability Academy (ISA) offers up to 12 scholarships for an 8-month research stay in Hamburg (Germany), together with a further month of sponsorship in the participant’s home country. Applicants are expected to already be working on a project or research in their home country, ideally on the theme of climate protection. The costs for accommodation (flat-shares), work station, international travel, health insurance, a monthly allowance of €1,300, and a 10-week German language course are covered by the scholarship program. International Water Center — International Masters Scholarships (Integrated Water Management)

Australia’s International Water Center announces funding for international candidates accepted into the Master of Integrated Water Management in Australia. Two scholarships will cover full tuition and living expenses of up to AU$95,564 (Type A Scholarship), and a third will cover full tuition of up to AU$58,989 (Type B Scholarship). Applications are invited from eligible countries in Asia-Pacific; Africa; Latin America and Caribbean; the Middle East; Europe; and North America. Online Turf — Scholarship for Agriculture & Horticulture Students

Online Turf offers £500 for full time education of an agricultural or horticultural subject field. Eligibility extends to students enrolled full time in an agricultural or horticultural course in university or college. IDEX Accelerator — Virtual Fellowship Program

IDEX invites applications worldwide for a Virtual Fellowship Program. The virtual program is designed to enable young professionals to acquire the tools and resources they need for a successful career in social entrepreneurship. Each fellow will gain access to online learning labs with 3-4 social enterprises from across the globe, webinars, and community engagement. Royal Society — Fellowships for Independent African Researchers

The Royal Society, in partnership with the African Academy of Sciences, offers fellowships to African early-career researchers who have the potential to become leaders in their field. Each FLAIR Fellowship will be for two years and will offer up to £150 thousand per year, alongside training and mentoring. Applications should be within the remit of natural sciences, including agricultural and biological research, among others. West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use — Master’s Program Climate Change & Marine Sciences

With funding provided by Germany, WASCAL engages in research to help tackle the severe challenges posed by climate change, focusing on West Africa. The WASCAL Graduate Studies Program offers full scholarships to support four master’s and six doctoral programs implemented at ten universities in West African countries. WASCAL’s member countries are Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Niger, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, and Togo. Doctoral students may spend up to six months at a host institution in Germany. Graduate students have access to the WASCAL research facilities located in various watersheds of West Africa. Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture — Full Master’s and PhD Scholarships 2020

Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) offers scholarships for PhD and Master studies. The scholarships are intended for graduate and postgraduate students from Southeast Asia who are regular employees of academic or research institutions or government agencies. Areas of specialization include: Agricultural/Biological sciences, Agro-industrial Technology,  Environmental Sciences, Forestry and Fisheries, among others. The scholarship covers tuition and other school fees; travel allowance; thesis/dissertation support; book and supplies allowance; health insurance; and stipend for food, lodging and incidental expenses. WASCAL — Master’s Program on Climate Change and Marine Sciences

The Technical University of Atlantic (Cabo Verde) seeks applications for its Master’s Program on Climate Change and Marine Sciences (MP-CCMS). The West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL) offers scholarships to African MSc students. The program includes English language training for participants from Francophone countries, three semesters of joint Master’s courses, shipboard training, and a scientific trip to a German partner institution. To eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be citizens of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, or Togo.
