The United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) launches the development and delivery of a Climate Finance Transparency Program. Partners are expected to provide capacity building to developing countries on climate finance transparency so that they can use what they have learnt to advance the implementation of their climate policies and actions. Financing for this activity ranges from US$40 thousand to US$60 thousand. United Nations Environment Programme — Course on Multilateral Environmental Agreements
The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) offers a course focused on international environmental law-making and diplomacy. The course addresses “One Atmosphere – Climate change, air pollution and ozone depletion” within international environmental law, to equip both current and future negotiators with the necessary skills to strengthen the negotiation, implementation, and impact of key environmental treaties. Candidates from developing nations or economies in transition can apply for partial or full fellowships to help with costs. This course is designed for experienced government officials. Union for the Mediterranean — Mediterranean Youth Water Hackathon
The Mediterranean Youth Water Hackathon invites young innovators aged 18 to 35 to collaborate and create game-changing solutions addressing the challenges and opportunities within the Water, Energy, Food, and Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus. Wilson Center — MENA Youth Fellowship
The Wilson Center announces a call for applications for the “Agents of Change Youth Fellowship,” a professional fellowship program for emerging leaders seeking meaningful careers at the intersection of climate change and security. The 2025 cohort will have a focus on water. The program is open to applicants from countries in the MENA region with a minimum of 5 years of work experience. RECOFTC — Community Forestry Research
RECOFTC and the Wyss Academy for Nature invite proposals from scholars conducting fieldwork on community forestry in Southeast Asia. The goal is to foster collaboration to facilitate partnerships between students and local communities. Proposed research must focus on Southeast Asia, with a preference for research performed in Lao PDR or Thailand. The budget should not exceed US$10 thousand. CatchLight — Global Fellowship
The CatchLight Global Fellowship awards visual storytellers who ignite social change through their photography, videography or leadership by leveraging the power of visuals. Proposals should employ and strengthen new methods and potential solutions with an eye towards community activations and sustainability. Benefits of the fellowship include a financial award of US$30 thousand, access to additional future funding through the CatchLight Impact Fund, and paid travel and accommodations for the 2025 CatchLight Visual Storytelling Summit in San Francisco. The Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at students from low- and middle-income countries who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. Climate Investment Funds — Youth Fellowship
The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) supports young climate professionals with a career-focused fellowship program. The CIF Youth Fellowship is a professional capacity-building program focused on providing hands-on experience to young leaders in global climate action. CIF Youth Fellows will work with Multilateral Development Banks on real-world projects in areas related to nature-based solutions, clean energy, adaptation and climate resilience, energy access, and gender and social inclusion.
