Earth Journalism Network — Media Partnership Reporting Fellowships to COP30

The Climate Change Media Partnership announces the COP30 Reporting Fellowship Program for journalists from low- and middle-income countries interested in covering the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30). The Fellowship will cover economy-class airfare, accommodation, meals, travel medical insurance, and ground transportation costs related to participation. The deadline is 15 July 2025. Link

International Federation of Inventors’ Associations — Regenerative Innovation Competition

The International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) accepts applications for the prestigious Regenerative Innovation Competition. The initiative aims to unite visionaries from Latin America and the Caribbean, in an effort to generate breakthrough solutions in fields such as Renewable Energy and Urban Sustainability, among others. Participation is open to individuals aged 16 and above, including representatives of academic institutions, third-sector organizations, startups, and traditional businesses. African Women in Agricultural Research and Development — African Women in Data Science Fellowship

African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD)accepts applications for the African Women in Data Science Fellowship. The Fellowship aims to enhance the leadership and technical capabilities of African women professionals utilizing data science to foster inclusive, evidence-based innovation in agrifood systems and climate resilience. The program targets African women from Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Malawi. The application deadline is 31 July 2025. Link

Worldwide Universities Network — Research Development Fund

The WUN Research Development Fund (RDF) provides grants of up to £10 thousand for one year to foster research collaborations among academic staff (faculty) at WUN member universities. Applications are open to researchers from WUN member institutions. The RDF supports research projects that fall under the network’s principal research theme of sustainable development. The closing date is 17 October 2025. Belmont Forum — Resilience Collaborative Research Action

The Resilience Collaborative Research Action (CRA) call focuses on transdisciplinary research about vulnerability and resilience management for socio-environmental systems in exposed territories. Funding will support research consortia composed of international partners from various disciplines. The project duration is 36 months. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Morocco

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Morocco. The priorities under this call include women’s economic rights, decent jobs, entrepreneurship, environment, and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management. The average contribution is C$15 thousand to C$20 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Communication Foundation — Climate Communication Fund

The Climate Communication Fund supports communication and climate action by supporting CSOs in enhancing their communication strategies. The Fund offers grants of up to €10 thousand to increase the communication capacity of climate nonprofits. Eligible organizations are encouraged to propose projects that leverage various communication channels, including digital media, community outreach, and educational programs. Green Institute — Fellows Program

The Green Institute offers the Green Fellows program for students passionate about sustainability, food security, climate action, and environmental law. The program consists of a series of four virtual conferences. Participants receive a certificate of participation and stand a chance to win $1000. Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old. Friends of Nepal — Nepal Grants

Friends of Nepal (FoN) supports initiatives that fight climate change and environmental degradation and provide solutions to agricultural and economic development in Nepal. FoN welcomes applications that simultaneously address climate change, natural resource conservation, and sustainability as well as economic development. Fingertips Company Limited — Climate Art Competition

The “Art on Climate” Competition invites talented illustrators and video creators to create artworks centred on the theme of climate change. Artists should illustrate innovative ideas and practical solutions to address this global challenge, inspiring the public to take proactive steps in their daily lives to combat climate change. Any person aged 18 or above from any location is eligible to participate. The champion of the competition will receive a prize of €2,000. The submission deadline is 31 July 2025.
