The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) intends to allocate grant funds for the implementation of the grant Smallholder Economic Empowerment through the Digital Solutions program. Interested applicants are invited to submit a proposal for the services required for the implementation of the program. Right Sharing of World Resources — Seed Grants for Women’s Microcredit Projects
Right Sharing of World Resources (RSWR) makes seed grants to support income-generating projects led by women. RSWR’s current priorities are grassroots organizations selected states and districts of India; and Quaker groups in Kenya and Sierra Leone. Projects include many in the production and sale of fruits and vegetables; meat and milk; grain crops; fish; fuelwood; and other enterprises associated with small-scale agriculture and rural livelihoods. Grants are usually US$5,500 (but many are considerably smaller) for a one-year project. The application deadline is 31 December each year. 100+ Accelerator seeks collaborative partnerships with farmers who produce high-yielding and quality crops sustainably. The Accelerator delivers 6 months of remote training to accelerate the collaboration and growth of cohort companies. Canadian International Development Research Center — IDRC Research Awards 2025
The International Development Research Center (IDRC) makes research awards to citizens and permanent residents of Canada and to citizens of developing countries (India and Kenya). The award provides for a one-year paid program of research in addition to hands-on experience in research management, grant administration, and the use of knowledge from an international perspective. Six positions are available at IDRC’s head office in Ottawa (Canada). Program areas include climate resilience and sustainable food systems; and several others. Applicants should be enrolled, or have previously completed, their masters or doctoral degrees at recognized universities. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the Afghanistan Integrated Youth Activity (AIYA) program. AIYA aims to empower Afghan youth, particularly girls and young women, with market-relevant technical and soft skills to enhance income, food security, and economic resilience.
