Irish Aid — Ireland Fellows Programme 2026/27

Irish Aid offers scholarships to qualified candidates from Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America to undertake Master’s degrees at universities and colleges in Ireland. Awards are made in the fields of development studies, rural development, biodiversity conservation, and many other subject areas relevant to the Terra Viva Grants Directory. The scholarship covers course fees, flights, accommodation, monthly allowances, insurance, and other incidental expenses. The deadline for applications is 30 July 2024. Application Information

Lipman Family Prize — Funding for Social Change

Each year, the Lipman Family Prize awards cash to three social impact organizations – US$250 thousand for the winning organization and US$125 thousand for each of the two other honorees. The award recognizes and amplifies the work of organizations devoted to positive social impact and creating sustainable solutions to significant social and economic challenges. Past winners include projects in the field of improved sanitation, energy innovations, and micro-forestry. Climate and Clean Air Coalition — Food & Nutrition Challenge

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) invites innovative, cross‑sector projects to reduce food loss and waste linked to methane and black carbon emissions while tackling malnutrition. Participants may include governments, NGOs, private sector entities, research institutions, and community organizations worldwide. World Academy of Sciences — Postgraduate Fellowship Program

TWAS offers a postdoctoral fellowship program for young scientists from developing countries (other than Pakistan) who wish to pursue postdoctoral research in organic chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pharmacology or physical chemistry at the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS). ICCBS will provide a monthly stipend which should be used to cover living costs such as food, accommodation and health insurance. Applicants for these fellowships must be permanent residents in a developing country and hold a PhD degree in a field of natural sciences. The application deadline is 14 August 2025. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Haiti

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Haiti. The priorities under this call include women’s economic rights, decent jobs and entrepreneurship, and investing in the poorest and most vulnerable (which may include agriculture or aquaculture projects). The average contribution is C$25 thousand to C$50 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Centre for Science and Environment — Green School Activation Program

The Green School Activation Program (GSAP) is aimed at promoting green education through a whole-school approach in secondary schools. GSAP is designed to restore green and healthy learning environments, enhance food security through vertical gardens, strengthen climate education, and embed circular economy practices in schools. To be eligible for the Green School Activation Programme, applicants must currently be teaching in Abuja, Lagos, or Oyo State. The deadline for submission is 15 July 2025. Sahee Foundation — Development in Swaziland and Peru

The Sahee Foundation makes grants for agriculture, health, education, and the environment in Swaziland and Peru. Sahee selects its partners among regional organizations that are well integrated in these target countries, as well as among local groups in Swaziland and Peru that launch development projects. For first applicants, the project budget must not exceed CHF10 thousand. There is no calendar deadline for applications. Details

Tools with a Mission — Tools for Livelihoods in Africa

Tools with a Mission (TWAM) supports livelihood projects in DR Congo, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The program ships tools and school books to registered charities and NGOs either working in Africa or based in Africa. Organizations can apply for different kits, including the Agricultural Tool Kit, the Electricians Kit, and the Plumbers Tool Kit. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Morocco

The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Morocco. The priorities under this call include women’s economic rights, decent jobs, entrepreneurship, environment, and climate action focusing on adaptation and mitigation, as well as on water management. The average contribution is C$15 thousand to C$20 thousand per project. Eligibility extends to local community organizations, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions. Enterprise Singapore — Foodtech Frontier Challenge

The Foodtech Frontier Challenge invites food tech startups and small businesses to share solutions that push the boundaries of taste, texture, nutrition, and sustainability. Enterprise Singapore offers a S$30 thousand development grant to support co-innovation with winning solution providers.
