Finduddannelse.dk is a Danish platform for lifelong learning. The platform offers a scholarship to a student for masters studies. The applicant must have been accepted to a masters program and aim to make the world more sustainable through their studies , for example, through clean energy, biology, sustainable agriculture, or any other relevant field. The scholarship offers up to €5000 to help cover tuition fees. Applicants from all around the world are welcome, however, candidates must be fluent in English or Danish. International Fund for Agricultural Development — Indigenous Peoples Assistance Facility 2022
The Indigenous Peoples Assistance Facility aims to strengthen indigenous peoples’ communities and their organizations by financing small projects which foster their self-driven development in the framework of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Focus is climate change adaptation, resilience and biodiversity in/for indigenous peoples’ communities to improve indigenous livelihoods. Proposed project budget requests should range between US$20 thousand and US$70 thousand, and include a minimum contribution by the grant recipient of 20% (cash or in-kind) of the total request. BIOPAMA — Small Technical Grants for Assessment of Conservation Areas
Biodiversity and Protected Areas Management (BIOPAMA) makes small grants for the technical assessment of protected conservation areas. Small Technical Grants for Assessment (STGA) aim to identify result-oriented priority actions for improved protected and conserved areas management and governance. Grant size can vary from a minimum of €50 thousand to a maximum of €100 thousand. Assessments must take place in priority areas such as key landscapes for conservation, key biodiversity areas, marine managed areas or other protected and conserved areas in the Caribbean. Crowd4SDG — Climate Resilience and Justice
Crowd4SDG seeks research projects that address the issues of climate resilience and justice. Participants may submit a project or an idea for a solution that supports individuals and communities’ preparedness for Climate Change. The challenge offers a 5-week online interactive coaching program. The selected applicants will be coached on how to turn an initial idea into a compelling crowdsourcing project. The top two teams will be invited to present their projects to potential UN and NGO partner organizations as well as impact investors. Fondation Segré — Research Support Grants
Fondation Segré supports on-the-ground conservation actions with the goal of improving the status of threatened animal species (terrestrial, freshwater and marine) and their habitats across Asia, the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. Research Support Grants have a maximum grant size of €5 thousand to support young and early scientists in their research to improve knowledge on threatened species and their role in natural ecosystems. EuroMarine — Scientific Working Groups
EuroMarine funds two Long-Term Scientific Working Groups with a maximum funding of €12,500 each. The aim of the working groups is to provide the EuroMarine community with recommendations on how to best contribute to the international and European initiatives for restoring and sustainably exploiting the oceans as well as to advance the research on emerging topics related to marine sciences. Proposals should involve at least three full Member Organizations of EuroMarine, from at least two different countries. British Academy — Visiting Fellowships
The British Academy’s Visiting Fellowships program provides outstanding academics based in any country overseas with the opportunity to be based at a UK higher education or other research institution. Visiting Fellows will work with colleagues at host UK institutions in order to develop new research collaborations and/or deepen existing partnerships. U.S. Mission to Fiji — Virtual Storytelling Program
The U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to conduct a series of virtual storytelling and filmmaking classes to multiple countries within the Pacific Island Region. “My Climate Story” will offer master classes to enable Pacific Islander youth to use their smartphone and tell how climate change affects them. Prospective applicants must submit a draft schedule of virtual sessions involving storytelling and filmmaking curriculum, to be conducted over an eight-week period. Awards may range from a minimum of US$25 thousand to a maximum of US$30 thousand. United States Agency for International Development — Youth-led Climate Action MENA
USAID seeks climate change and environmental solutions from youth-led organizations across the MENA region. Organizations are invited to submit applications for a regional grant competition where selected organizations will receive up to US$62 thousand to implement their proposed climate initiatives. Snow Leopard Network — Small Grants
The ‘With Snow Leopards’ Small Grant (SLSG) provides financial support and promotes snow leopard research and conservation across the snow leopard range. In 2022, SLSG will support 1-2 projects addressing Snow leopard research and conservation, public educational programs to promote snow leopard conservation, and research projects that address critical questions related to snow leopard ecology. Selected projects will be awarded between up to US$15 thousand. The proposed project duration should not exceed 12 months.
