The Indo-German Science & Technology Center (IGSTC) invites applications from women researchers in India/Germany to participate and collaborate in an ongoing Research and Development project. International SeaKeepers Society — Discovery Yachts Program
The International SeaKeepers Society supports the Discovery Yachts Program to promote marine research, education, and conservation. The program enables marine scientists to conduct oceanographic research by placing them on member vessels. SeaKeepers maintains a database of yacht owners willing to donate time, fuel, provisions, and expertise aboard their vessels. Research missions aboard participating yachts may take place in any coastal or offshore waters where legally permitted. Proposals are accepted on a rolling (continuous) basis. Biome — Partnerships in Tropical Conservation
Biome (also known as the International Conservation Fund of Canada) works to conserve nature in the tropics and other priority areas worldwide. Biome does not offer grants or donations. However, it invites proposals for conservation projects, either at the idea stage or as developed proposals. Biome generally works with local partner NGOs, who carry out project activities through an agency agreement. Nestlé Foundation — Human Nutrition in Developing Countries
The Nestlé Foundation supports research in human nutrition in low-income and lower middle-income countries. In relation to agriculture, the Foundation will consider research on food policy, food production, and food technology if the intervention has high potential for improved nutritional status and public health. The Foundation offers training grants, pilot grants, and full project grants. Crafting Tomorrow Program — Climate Innovation in Africa
The Crafting Tomorrow Program is a 12-week initiative by the Center for Climate Action and Innovation in Africa (CCAIE), supporting young innovators (ages 16-35) in Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya. The fully funded program provides training in climate adaptation, sustainable entrepreneurship, and business development, culminating in a Pitch Day for investors. Canada Fund for Local Initiatives — Community Projects in Brazil
The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) invites proposals that meet the needs of local communities in Brazil. CFLI provides funding to projects that implement environment and climate action projects focusing on adaptation and mitigation, targeted response in the event of disasters as well as water management and other thematic areas. Earth Journalism Network — Story Grants Asia Pacific
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers story grants to support the production of in-depth solutions-focused media reports on environmental and climate challenges in the Asia-Pacific region. We welcome stories on scalable and replicable solutions that build community resilience to climate change and environmental degradation. The Network accepts applications from journalists residing in low- and middle-income countries in South Asia, East Asia and the Pacific. Earth Journalism Network — Media Grants Marine Conservation
The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers media grants to support in-depth and enterprise reporting projects, initiatives to train journalists and other activities designed to increase media coverage and the capacity of journalists to report on 30×30 marine conservation targets. Newsrooms and media organizations in coastal countries are eligible to apply. EJN anticipates supporting two organizations with grants of US$10 thousand each. U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration — Coral Reef Stewardship Fund
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) awards grants to improve the health of coral reef systems. Grants will be awarded to reduce land-based sources of pollution, advance coral reef fisheries management, increase capacity for reef-scale restoration, and support management in their efforts to increase the natural recovery and resiliency of coral reef systems. Priority is given to U.S. coral jurisdictions (American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands, Florida, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands). Priority will be given to projects that conduct applicable land-based and in-water conservation activities. NFWF welcomes applications from all persons and organizations (except U.S. federal agencies and for-profit entities) within and outside the USA. Most grants range from US$80 thousand to US$600 thousand for international projects of up to 24 months. Projects should be 6 months to 3 years in duration.
