The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) offers grants to boost reporting on renewable energy in India. ENJ will support the production of in-depth stories on the prospects, problems and pathways forward for renewable energy. In addition to funding, selected journalists will receive support from experienced mentors through the story production process. ENJ expects to award story grants with an average budget of US$1,200 each. Applications are open to India-based journalists and other expert media practitioners with a demonstrated interest in reporting on the renewable energy sector, or other topics related to energy and the environment. The Conservation Nation Grant Program provides funding to help save endangered animals and their ecosystems by building a stronger, more diverse community of conservation practitioners. The Established Conservationist grant program provides funds to mid-career conservationists from traditionally marginalized communities. Applicants can submit conservation activities or research projects in wildlife conservation. Applicants are eligible for grants up to US$10 thousand. The Conservation Nation Grant Program provides funding to help save endangered animals and their ecosystems by building a stronger, more diverse community of conservation practitioners. The Emerging Conservationist grant supports conservationists beginning their careers who have the passion and ideas to help save the planet but not the privilege, access, and networks that hold back so many from success. Applicants are eligible for grants up to US$5 thousand. The Global Development Network (GDN) aims to strengthen African social science research institutions and boost the production of research by young researchers. Research institutions can receive funding of up to €100 thousand for capacity building activities in support of young researchers. Eligibility extends to francophone African research institutions on national and regional public policies in the political, social and economic fields. U.S. Department of State — E-Waste Program
The FRE-E-WASTE program is a two-day workshop, followed by a co-production of a manual on e-waste for Southeast Asian environmental enthusiasts aged between 18 to 35. The program aims to raise awareness on the problem of e-waste and educate that greenhouse gasses could be reduced or avoided if e-waste were properly treated and recycled. Global Water Partnership-Caribbean — Youth Workshop Caribbean
The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) invites applications to the workshop “To Save the Water…Let’s Talk About Shit”. The workshop will focus on the roles of Youth and the Media in Caribbean Wastewater Management. Participation is open to Caribbean Youth and Journalists residing in Caribbean countries. As part of the workshop, participants will also be given the opportunity to create social media content to raise awareness amongst the wider public. EuroMarine — School on Ocean Transformation
EuroMarine launches a call for proposals to host the inaugural EuroMarine School on Ocean Transformation. The School is an opportunity to host a training workshop that will equip attendees with new knowledge to address ocean challenges and should address one or more of the key priorities and challenges in marine science. The maximum budget available is €25 thousand. Proposals should involve at least three full Member Organizations of EuroMarine, from at least two different countries. The Takagi Fund for Citizen Science invites grant applications from groups and individuals in Asia pursuing “Citizen Science”. Research Grants may cover research and travel expenses, printing, as well as workshops or symposia to communicate research findings to the public. Training Grants are to support an individual receiving training at educational institutions, NGOs, research institutes and can be used to cover travel, accommodation, tuition or related costs. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID/India) seeks concept papers for a cooperative agreement from qualified organizations to implement the ‘Strengthening Landscape Management and Conservation’ activity. The activity focuses on three main objectives: (1) Improved management of protected areas and their corridors for wildlife conservation and other ecological benefits; (2) Improved inclusive livelihoods from ecosystem services, and (3) Strengthened conditions for institutionalizing landscape conservation. Finduddannelse.dk is a Danish platform for lifelong learning. The platform offers a scholarship to a student for masters studies. The applicant must have been accepted to a masters program and aim to make the world more sustainable through their studies , for example, through clean energy, biology, sustainable agriculture, or any other relevant field. The scholarship offers up to €5000 to help cover tuition fees. Applicants from all around the world are welcome, however, candidates must be fluent in English or Danish.
