National Geographic Society — Building Resilience in Agriculture
The Building Resilience in Agriculture initiative offers grants of up to US$150 thousand to support regenerative, nature-positive agricultural projects with demonstrated real-world impact. Approved projects should be implemented on farms or adjacent agricultural landscapes and address two or more outcomes—such as soil health, climate adaptation and mitigation, watershed health, biodiversity, and improved livelihoods—through tested, science-based interventions. Eligible applicants are individuals aged 18+, with proven experience in field-based regenerative agriculture and an established local collaborator if working outside their own community. African Centre for Technology Studies — Innovation Challenge
The AI4D Innovation Scaling Challenge offers up to US$100 thousand in seed funding to scale AI solutions already deployed in real-world settings across Sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative supports innovations addressing climate action, agriculture, education, gender/disability inclusion, and inequality, and provides not only funding but also mentorship. The Climate Services for Risk Reduction in West Africa (CS4RRA) aims to support interdisciplinary projects that enhance climate resilience across 16 West African countries. With funding of up to €2 million per project for durations of up to 36 months, the call targets initiatives that improve early warning systems, assess climate security risks, and integrate climate services into policy and financing mechanisms. International Development Research Centre — Indigenous Research Leadership
The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) funds up to seven grants of CA$100 thousand each to support 12‑month, knowledge‑sharing projects between Indigenous-led or Indigenous‑supporting organizations in the Global South. The World Soil Day Award (WSDA) recognizes individuals and/or institutions that have made an effort to organize successful celebrations in the framework of the World Soil Day campaign of the previous year. British Academy — International Writing Workshops
The British Academy invites proposals for Writing Workshops in developing countries. The aim of the Writing Workshops is to provide access for early-career researchers to the academic requirements of journals, including international journals, and to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to publish in these journals. Awards are set at a maximum of £30 thousand. Funding must be used in the direct delivery of the workshops and can cover travel and related expenses. International Association of Horticultural Producers — World Green City Awards
The AIPH World Green City Awards competition recognizes the role of city authorities in promoting and supporting greater inclusion of nature and plants in urban environments. The award is open to city governments and local authorities around the world. The submission must be made by the local authority governing the city – such as the Mayor’s or executive officer’s office. The French-speaking International Pole of the Great Sites Network of France (RGSF) invites applications for the 10th edition of the Intensive International Training “Building the Future of Heritage Sites together: Developing and Implementing Sustainable Management”. The training is intended for francophone managers working on natural or cultural heritage sites who wish to improve their professional practice. The workshop will be held in Bibracte-Morvan des Sommets (France). Legacy Project — Global Youth Awards 2025
The Global Youth Awards supports youth aged 11-25 who are leading inspirational projects for social and environmental impact around the world. This includes environmental projects and innovations to restore and regenerate the global ecosystem.
