Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund — Implementation Team for the Tropical Andes

The Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) invites expressions of interest from organizations interested in serving as the regional implementation team for the Tropical Andes Biodiversity Hotspot (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru). WYSE International — SDG Program for Young Leaders

WYSE International seeks applications for the “Global Change Makers: Leadership Coaching for the Sustainable Development Goals” opportunity. Successful applicants will participate in a free year-long coaching program with leadership professionals. WYSE International accepts applications for projects which support the following Sustainable Development Goals: Clean Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, and Climate Action, among others. International Development Research Centre — Strengthening Research in West Africa

The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) calls for proposals to support the strengthening of national research and innovation funding agencies in West Africa. The Science Granting Councils Initiative invites proposals from organizations (including think tanks, institutes, universities and agencies) based in Africa Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and Sierra Leone. Organizations should have proven experience and track records in areas such as public sector science, technology and innovation; strengthening organizational capacity; and national science, among others. Palladium — Challenge Fund

Palladium funds humanitarian relief efforts and supports community projects with the aim to source innovative responses to global challenges. In 2022, Palladium supports organizations that have innovative approaches to valuing nature, or sustainable solutions to getting refugees into jobs with up to AU$75 thousand. JRS Biodiversity Foundation — Information on Freshwater Biodiversity and Pollinator Biodiversity in Africa

The JRS Biodiversity Foundation aims to increase the access to and the use of information for biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in Sub-Saharan Africa. The current call for proposals requests multi-year projects focused on biodiversity data, knowledge, and information services related to freshwater biodiversity and pollinator biodiversity in Eastern and Southern Africa. Preference is for projects that can grow to larger scale, or that can be transferred across geographic regions or across organizational and institutional contexts. U.S. African Development Foundation — Agricultural Cooperatives in Nigeria

The U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) and Ekiti State Government (EKSG) invites proposals for grant financing and local support for innovative solutions that improve farmer incomes and achieve sustainable market-based growth. Proposals will be accepted from registered agricultural cooperatives, producer groups, and agricultural processors in Nigeria. Grant awards range from US$50 thousand to US$250 thousand. Scotiabank — Decarbonization Research

The Scotiabank accepts applications for projects that will advance research and leadership in support of global decarbonization efforts. The Net Zero Research Fund (NZRF) seeks partnerships with leading think-tanks and academic institutions that are supporting key sectors in their efforts to decarbonize. Scotiabank will award grants ranging from CA$25 thousand up to CA$100 thousand. To be eligible for funding, partner organizations must be registered not-for-profit or charitable organizations in Canada, the US or Latin America. International RiverFoundation — European Riverprize

The European Riverprize invites applications from any organization or partnership who has achieved remarkable outcomes for rivers, river basins and their communities. The winner will receive the cash prize and trophy. Organizations, or groups of organizations, responsible for their river and involved in river management, restoration and/or protection can enter the competition. Thomson Reuters Foundation — Reporting on Climate Change

The Thomson Reuters Foundation invites journalists to participate in a training program on locally-led adaptation to climate change. This training opportunity offers a chance to understand the impact of climate change at a local level, and learn how to better report on the topic and enhance Civil Society Organizations communications to effectively communicate their message to the media. International Union for Conservation of Nature — Sustainable Environments

The Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable Environments (RISE) Grant Program supports strategies to prevent gender-based violence in the context of natural resource access and control. For that purpose, RISE seeks partnerships between environmental organizations, Indigenous Peoples’ organizations, local and grassroots communities. RISE seeks to fund up to six projects in the range of US$100 thousand to US$300 thousand each. Projects must be implemented in Central America and the Caribbean, Eastern and Southern Africa, or South and Southeast Asia.
